Dewey Oklahoma
We woke up to 40 degrees, very nice. It got to 70 degrees.
The air quality was poor due to the agricultural controlled burns. The ranches in the area burn their fields so they can grow grass for their cattle. The wind has been blowing for days. Yesterday, when we went to Bartlesville we saw smoke but today the smoke was thicker and you can smell it. I didn't do any extra walking to get my steps because the smoke was so bad. I did end up getting 2,000 steps, which put me 3rd place in my group.
I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Larry and I both spent the morning reading. For lunch I heated up a can of soup. Then I did a the dishes and put things away and secure.

After putting things away Larry unplugged the Minnie. Our destination was the Tom Mix Museum in Dewey, which is 10 miles away. Dewey is a small town with a population of 3,432. In the town it has The Tom Mix Museum. We found a parking spot for RVs on the side of the Dewey Hotel and Museum. Then we walked across the street to Tom Mix Museum. As we were walking in the museum we saw a lady walking two dogs on leashes. She told them to sit and wait. They did exactly what they were told. She waited for the cars to go by and signaled it was time to continue their walk. They obeyed whatever she signaled. The lady in charge of the museum said she gave her one of the dogs. Larry commented that neither one of our dogs obeyed like that. Before walking through the museum we watched a movie about Tom Mix. It was a small museum but had a lot of information and items from Tom Mix's life. He was an interesting man. He did a lot of things in his life. He started his adventures by enlisting in the Army in 1898 for three years and reenlisted for another three years. He was married four times. During his first marriage he was a bartender, a laborer at Dewey Portland Cement, a drummer in the Territory Calvary Band, a ranch hand on the 101 ranch, a performer in the 101 Wild West Show and a night marshal of Dewey. The 101 ranch was a 110,000-acre ranch in Indian Territory before Oklahoma began a state. It was owned by the Miller Brothers and it performed Wild West Shows. While doing the Wild West Shows he migrated into the movies. Tom was known for western movies, he was in about 236 movies, he did 105 that weren't westerns. Tom performed his own stunts. He also had his own circus. He died in an auto accident, he made a quick stop and a piece of luggage slid forward hitting him in the back of his head killing him. The museum was very nice. The lady working at the museum was very friendly.

After touring the museum Larry took me back to the Osage Casino. It was about 6 miles from Dewey. I spent 2.5 hours gambling and only gave the casino $4.00 dollars. While I gambled Larry read.

As we were getting ready to leave Larry noticed a small puddle of water under the Minnie. He looked under the the Minnie and inside to see if he could find the leak. He figured out it had to be under the closet floor where the water pump and a lot of plumbing is. He thought a connector might have started to leak. We decided to go back to the campground to check it out.
Once back at our site Larry parked the Minnie and plugged it back in. It was time for dinner. I made frozen burritos and wedge fries for dinner.
After dinner Larry took everything out of the closet and took the cover off the floor. He found the leak. The water pump has a tiny leak from a cracked seam. It's a very small leak but the board the pump is mounted on is a piece of fiber board and its soaking wet. It has been absorbing the water like a sponge, it is falling apart and will have to be replaced. The pump will also have to be replaced. Larry has a spare pump but we need a board. They have a Lowe's in Bartlesville so tomorrow we will go to town and get what we need. If we were at home where Larry has all of his tools this would not be a very difficult repair but on the road it will be much more challenging. He does not have a saw or drill.
I did the Daily Challenge of Solitaire and the event. The event was Event: Spider Adventure of 20 games. it took me 2 hours, 22 minutes and 45 seconds, which put me in 15th place in my group.
