What a surprise!!! |
It rained most of the morning and in the afternoon the wind came up. When the evening came around the wind was very strong.
Larry wrote an e-mail to Louise last night asking if she would be home this morning. She hadn't replied so he called her, she hadn't checked her email. He had to get me out of bed and then we headed to Round Rock.
On the way there we stopped at Jack 'n' Jill and bought a couple of donuts. We arrived at Round Rock around 9:30. The vanity light in Louise's bathroom had quit working so Larry had brought a switch from home. He replaced the switch and that fixed the light.
The next project was a surprise. Larry installed a security camera on the outside of Louise's house pointing at her front door. She was excited about this. Once he got the camera installed and wired he programmed it to work with her phone. He also got it to work with her Echo Show but it would not work with her tablet. The tablet operating system was too old. The camera works perfect. Now Louise can see who is at her front door before she opens it. We ended up taking the old tablet home with us.

We visited with her and Alice a bit before saying good-bye. We had great visit.
When we got home Larry did some research and found a way to get the old tablet to work. Now we will have to get it back to her.
In the evening we streamed a cute movie called Robot & Frank. It was about an ex-jewel thief that received a robot from his son to be his butler. We had a relaxing evening.
