Having fun square dancing |
This morning it was about 40 degrees when we woke up. It was chilly but last night Larry had turned on the Wave 3 heater so it was about 65 degrees inside the Minnie. It started out overcast but the sun did come out for a bit. In the evening we had wind and rain.
In the morning we danced for two hours to Todd Fellegy and Ross Howell. They put us in challenging positions and made it a lot of fun. Then we had a two hour break for lunch. At 2:00 we were back dancing for two and a half hours. We danced to Darryl Lipscomb, Ben Rubright and Bill Haynes. We had an outstanding afternoon. Darryl concentrated on the beaus and belles concept in different positions. Bill Haynes called fast and was very challenging. We had a three hour break for dinner. We had never eaten at a White Castle restaurant before and there is one within walking distance so we went there for dinner, we weren't impressed. For dessert we walked over to Dunkin Donuts. At 7:30 we were back dancing. The session was from 7:30 to 10:00. We danced to Bronc Wise and Todd Fellegy. Today we normally had four squares but at times we had three. We had a great day of dancing.
