Tuesday 8-13-19 Why is Larry excited?

Larry is excited

I woke up not feeling well, my allergies were acting up so we decided not to go to the lake. Larry called the landscaping company and setup having our yards mowed every other Thursday while we are gone.

Larry had a dentist appointment for tomorrow to get a crown put on his implant. The dentist office called early in the morning and told him that the crown had arrived and asked him if he would like to come in this morning instead of tomorrow. He said absolutely so off to the dentist we went. It didn't take long to put the crown on. Larry said it feels great. He is so excited to have this done. It has been over two years since that tooth was removed. This was the third implant placed, the first two failed before a crown was installed. Everything seems great this time.

The dentist gave him the molds they used to make the crown. The molds looks like something you might see at Halloween. They show the angle the implant went in and how the crown was formed on top of the implant.

Last week when Larry ordered the fuel sending unit for the fuel gauge on the boat the lady said it would take three to four weeks for it to arrive. Larry received an e-mail that said it had arrived at the UPS Store. On the way home we swung around to the UPS Store to pick it up. We confused the employees because they hadn't received the package into their system yet but it was in the store. They found it.

After lunch Larry went in the garage to install the new fuel sending unit. He wasn't sure how hard it was going to be and he was relieved when the old one came right out and the new one went in so easily. It only took about 15 minutes.

When we got home from our weekend square dancing trip my flowers looked like they were done for the season. While Larry was working on the boat I cleaned the area up. The flowers were easy to pull because the ground was wet. Now the planter is ready for new flowers to be planted next year. It's sad to see the flowers gone but they had a super run.

Our hummingbird feeder has been attracting quite a few hummingbirds and the nectar was getting low so I refilled it. We have it hanging off of our back porch and the majority of the day it is in the shade but in the morning the sun shines on it, it was amazing how hot the nectar was in the feeder. I guess it shouldn't surprise me considering it has been over 100 degrees.

In the evening we watched a couple of episodes of the 12th season of Poirot. I finished watching Modern Miss Fisher series.
