Tuesday 8-12-25 Dancing at Liberty Hill & Games

Awesome Day

We had an awesome day of dancing in Liberty Hill. We hadn't been at the Ski's house for dancing since 6/17/25. Because we went to San Francisco for a square dancing convention. John Kephart had other square dancing comments. We fought Covid for a few weeks.

We left the house at 10:15 am and returned home by 4:15 pm. On the way to the Ski's house we stopped and had sandwiches for lunch in a restaurant's parking in Liberty Hill. We met up with Susan and Henry to dance C1 via tape at noon. We danced to Tony Collingwood from the UK for an hour. We had a great time. For a bit Henry was running a C1 tape group in Austin. It was sad to learn they aren't meeting on Sundays anymore because one couple dropped out.

At 1:00 pm we danced A1/A2 for two hours to John Kephart. John rotated tips from A1 and A2 because his students for A were dancing and they just know A1. We had enough people for two squares and an extra person during the A1 tips and one square during the A2 tips. I danced all the tips. Everyone was happy to see us back. We had an outstanding time dancing to John and with friends. I can't forget Baily (the Ski's dog), it was great to see her.

Get a partner and dance

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Medium Mayhem Mini of five games. It took me 12 minutes and 15 seconds, which put me in 21st place in my group. I played Angry Birds.

Larry continued doing his music project.

I played four games of pinball, which were Attack From Mars, Creature From the Black Lagoon, Monster Bash and NBA Fast Break. I didn't get on the board or get a new high score but had fun.

In the evening we finished watching the second season of Professor T on PBS. We watched YouTube videos. When Larry went to bed I watched Twisters from our movies collection. I ended up doing 3,200 steps.
