Afternoon Thunder Storm

 

It got up to 92 degrees before dropping to 79 at about 3:00 when a thunder storm came through. The clouds rolled in and the skies got dark. Then it thundered and the rain came down. It wasn't a hard rain and the storm went away in a couple of hours. About 4:00 the power went out, the power company had it back on within an hour. Our neighbor (Chris) got his generator out and started it. It took him a few times to get it started but it worked. 

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: East Street Mini of 5 games. It took me 11 minutes and 54 seconds, which put me in 22nd place in my group. I played Angry Birds and Friends and Angry Birds.

Larry spent the day playing with his new e-reader. He initially installed two e-reader programs and while they both worked he was not overly thrilled with either. One was too complicated and the official Kindle reader program offered very few options. Yesterday he installed two others. He liked both of them. After experimenting with them he decided on Moon Reader. It allows lots customizing. He's having a great time learning it and getting it setup the way he wants it.

I worked out with the Wii Fit for a half hour and with the Synth Riders for a half hour.

I played one game of Monster Manor on Bounce Arcade. I earned a bronze trophy. I woke the manor twice, harvest the Jack-O-Lantern by hitting the clock three times, I hit the banister and busted it and I stunned the manor once. I had fun.

I played seven games of pinball. They were World Tour Joker Poker, Big Buck Hunter Pro, Big Bang Bar, Dark Chaos, Nightmare Before Christmas, Time Lord and Ripley Believe It or Not. While playing Dark Chaos I came in high score #3. While trying to get a new high score on Ripley Believe It or Not the power went out. I had played it a few times. 

I was having a great game and the power went out. I can try again tomorrow before the challenge is over. I love playing pinball.

I worked on the new jigsaw puzzle, which is Playground.

In the evening we continued watching the third season of The Wheel of Time on Amazon. When Larry went to bed I started watching the Batman movies out of our movies collect. The movie was Batman Begins. I ended up doing 3,200 steps.
