Hot Day of Summer
We had a hot day, 100 degrees was the high.
We have no virtual square dances on Thursday so we had a laid back day. We started the day out by going to town. We're leaving on our Fall Trip in two weeks and Larry wants to change the oil in the Minnie before we go. It doesn't need the oil changed but we're not sure how far we're going. First stop was at the UPS Store to get our mail, once again no mail. Then we went next door to Walmart to buy the oil and oil filter for the Minnie. While there we did some shopping. We needed toilet paper and paper towels for our trip and the house. Because we were there we purchased a few grocery items. In a day or two we'll probably do a home delivery for items we will need. Then we went across the street to Dollar Tree, we bought cookies and bleach for our septic system. Last stop was at Jack 'n' Jill Donuts for breakfast.
Grocery shopping
When we got home I put everything away. When we go grocery shopping in person we sometimes pick up things we didn't plan to. Today we saw that Progresso had new soups, we picked up four different ones (Steakhouse-Style Steak & Beans, Smokehouse-Style Grilled Chicken & Potato, BBQ-Style Grilled Chicken & Roasted Corn and Sausage & Beer Cheese with Potato). For lunch we had the steak & bean soup, it was very good. Larry likes to try new soups and I just go along with it. I prefer a salami sandwich.
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. While playing the daily challenges I found out I had missed a day so I played 10 games of Solitaire and 10 games of Mahjong. Then I moved onto the event, which was Event: Two Game Tango of 20 games (10 Pyramid and 10 Tri Peaks). It took me 1 hour, 12 minutes and 6 seconds, which put me in 14th place in my group. I played Angry Birds.
Larry read on his e-reader.
I worked on my jigsaw puzzle of the Playground.
I played seven different games of pinball. I played the weekly challenge of Batman The Dark Knight and got a new high score of 66,949,720. I submitted this score, which put me in 39th place out of 51 participants. The last couple of times playing the weekly challenge I had a couple of guys comment, that they liked my score (Ripley's Believe It or Not Ruddy Jacquiot from France and today Alfonso Rafola from United States). It was nice to get complimented on my scores. I played three James Bond games (Dr. No, James Bond 60th Anniversary and Goldeneye)and the other three were The Great Houdini, Jaws and Rambo. While playing Rambo I came in as high score #2. I had a good afternoon of playing pinball.

For dinner I made chicken enchiladas using the rotisserie chicken from Walmart. They came out good.
In the evening we watched Support Your Local Outlaw on the Roku Channel. Then I watched Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End from our movies collection. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.
