Friday 8-1-25 No Dancing, Mowing, Games & Reading

Welcome to August

Good-bye July, hello August. It got to 97 degrees.

I started the day out by going outside and mowing the frontyard. Last Thursday the lawn crew came and mowed. The frontyard was growing fast. I wanted to beat the heat so I went and mowed at 9:00 am. I mowed the frontyard, weedeated around the edges of the yard. Larry blew off the front porch and when I finished mowing I blew the driveway. I'm glad I did it at this time because I was hot afterwards. It took me awhile to cool off.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango (10 Klondike and 10 Spider). It took me 2 hours, 38 minutes and 47 seconds to complete, which put me in 17th place in my group of 50 participants. I played Angry Birds.

I played six games of pinball. They were Cirqus Voltaire, Indianapolis 500, Jaws, World Cup Soccer and Ripley Believe It or Not. I didn't play too good but I had a fun time.

I played one game of Pirate's Plunder on Bounce Arcade. I earned a silver trophy. I got two Jolliest Rogers, defeated my enemies two times and played the skull event. I had a good game.

While I played games Larry finished reading Dancing With Wolves on his new e-reader.

 Relaxing with a book

I finished assembling the Birdhouses jigsaw puzzle. It started 7/12/25 and finished it 8/1/25. which was 20 days. It was a 2,000 pieces puzzle made by Art Gallery. It was challenging at the end because I worked on the green areas. There were three different colors of greens but it was a lot of fun. Then I started another jigsaw puzzle called Playground, which is 2,000 pieces.and made by Art Gallery.

I work on the puzzles while I watch television because Larry made a cardboard board for me to put on a card table. I set the table up in front of the television. The board makes it easy for me to move the puzzle to the second bedroom when we dance. I move the table to the window so I can workout and play Bounce Arcade and Synth Riders. When playing Bounce Arcade and Synth Riders I need most of the living room because I play them in VR and I use the controls and I move my arms around.

In the evening we continued watching the third season of The Wheel of Time on Amazon. When Larry went to bed I watched Iron Man 3 out of our movies collection. I ended up doing 2,500 steps.
