Having fun square dancing |

In the morning Larry and I finished assembling the Family Vacation jigsaw puzzle. It only took three days to put this 2000 piece puzzle together. Larry was a great help.

We spent the afternoon and evening square dancing in New Braunfels to Ross Howell. New Braunfels is 115 miles from the house, it took us about 2.5 hours to get there considering we had go through Austin and Round Rock via I35. I35 can be a nightmare because of the traffic. The event was called Let's Get'er Done!, it is a three day event for A2, C1 and C2 dancers. Friday night had a dance for C1 and C2 dancers. Saturday had three, two hour sessions: 1 for C1 and two for A2, we attended the A2 sessions. There were seven squares. We were surprised considering the state square dancing festival was going on in Tyler this weekend. We had a super time dancing with friends and some dancers we have never danced with. Ross Howell did an excellent job of calling and made it challenging.

Walking through a problem move after the tip |
We have been to New Braunfels a few times. It is known for tubing down the Guadalupe & Comal rivers, which we have done. It also has a big water park called Schlitterbahn which we have also visited. During the three hour break between sessions we went to dinner at Denny's and drove around New Braunfels. The city was very busy because of the shops, restaurants and tubing. Both rivers had a lot of tubers. There was a historic bridge in the city, which we drove by but couldn't walk on it because there was no parking. We had a nice drive around New Braunfels.
We had an awesome day of dancing to Ross Howell.
