Dale Smith, Brad Caldwell and Wendell Moore |
I can't believe that Larry and I have been dancing at the plus level of square dancing for a year. Today we met up with Belinda to go to Allemande Hall to celebrated TIPS first anniversary. The TIPS Club began a year ago as soon as their first class graduated. TIPS is a plus club with Dale Smith and Wendell Moore as their callers. It was formed by some local square dancers who had a vision to have a club that gave the local dancers a chance to advance their dancing skills. They asked Dale and Wendell to help them by offering plus lessons and see where it would go from there. When we heard about this we were thrilled and took the lessons. We have been having fun ever since. The club wanted to celebrate their first anniversary with a bang so they asked Brad Caldwell to call for the dance. The dance had enough people for four squares and Brad was tremendous. He had us dancing to patterns we usually didn't dance and everyone had a great time.
In the evening Larry and I hung out with Flo and watched a couple documentaries. Subjectified was a documentary of nine young women and their sexual experiences as they were growing up. It was very informative and interesting on how open the women were. Field Full of Secrets was a true story documentary of two best friends who stepped into a field of crop circles in England for the first time and what they did next. The crop circles were incredible and it was interesting to go through the journey with them.
