We had another fun day. Larry and I started out by going to the lake. Once again we had the lake to ourselves. While there we wake boarded and floated. We had a great time.

Swimming at Temple Lake Park

After lunch I took an hour nap and then Larry and I took Flo to Temple Lake Park so she could go swimming. It has been 100 or more degrees and she has been wanting to go to the lake. Last week she enjoyed it when we were at Temple Lake Park so we took her back. While she and I walked along the bank and she swam Larry kept cool under the ramada reading the paper. We walked for about a half hour and she swam a lot. Her favorite thing was rolling on top of dead fish heads. Then I would make her go into the water to rinse off the smell. Flo had a super time cooling off at the lake.

Watching Television

In the evening Larry and I watched the season finale of Last Tango in Halifax. We streamed a couple other shows on the PBS channel on the ROKU, Roadtrip Nation and Women Who Make America. Roadtrip Nation was about three young college graduates, who travel the country interviewing people on all walks of life. We watched a couple of the 10 Season episodes and found it was geared towards young people so we probably won't watch any more. Women Who Make America are documentaries about women in different spheres of life: war, comedy, space, business, Hollywood and politics. We watched the documentary Women in War, which was very interesting about how the military has changed towards women and what women had to endure in the military. We had a great day.
