8-5 Another Hot Day in Texas

Larry woke up this morning with a pleasant surprise. He opened the blinds in the living room and a young fawn hopped out of the trees. He got the camera and took pictures of it and its mother. We see deer all the time and never get tried of them. After feeding Flo Larry went to get the paper and saw a few Corp of Engineers boats going to Arrowhead Point Ramp so a little later when we went to town to do errands we went by to check it out. Last year about this time we watched the Corp of Engineers doing some kind of boater operation training but this year they locked the gate so we couldn't go in unless we walked in. 

Taco Pizza Rolls

Tomorrow is the Central Texas Lone Stars dance and we take a dish to the dance. The other day Larry was reading the paper and saw a recipe for Taco Pizza Rolls. He thought it sounded good so I decided I would take it to the dance. When we were in town doing errands we picked up the ingredients along with the rest of our groceries. I had never made taco pizza rolls before so I tried the recipe out for our dinner. They came out good so I'll make some for the dance. 

After lunch Larry went to the chiropractor and I went with him. We left Flo at home this trip because it was too hot for her to stay in the car. The rest of the afternoon I worked on my puzzle and worked out for a half hour.

We usually go square dancing on Wednesdays with Shirts 'n' Skirts, Jan wasn't feeling well so Skip and her cancelled out. Larry's feet were really hurting so we decided to stay home and watch Maleficent. After watching the dvd we watched a couple episodes of Story Trek. We had a very nice day. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!
