SUnday 5-31-26 New Challenge, Workout & Having Fun

 

Happy Sunday

We had a laid back day. The morning temperature was 72 degrees and the high was 90 degrees. It was a little cooler then yesterday.

We hung around the house doing this and that. 

Larry treated for ants because for the last few days I have had a few ants crawling on the counters in the kitchen, Larry had sprayed a couple of weeks ago but we have had a couple of really hard rains so it probably washed the treatment away. The ants weren't fire ants, they were too small and they weren't in a long line. There were only one or two of them crawling together. Thank you Larry.

I did some housework. I dusted, cleaned the bathrooms and vacuumed the house. It took me about 45 minutes to doing the cleaning.

Today is the beginning of a new week so I got a new weekly pinball challenge, which is Creature From The Black Lagoon. We already had the game but it is an older version. Larry loaded the new version and made sure it worked. He played a game and it worked great.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Hard Road Mini of 10 games. It took me 1 hour, 1 minute and 10 seconds to complete, which put me in 9th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.  

I played last week's challenge of Batman for about a half hour before the challenge ended at 2:00 pm. I didn't get a new high score but I came close a couple of times. My high score for the week was 117,010,300, which put me 100th place out of 127 participants. Then I played the new challenge of Creature From The Black Lagoon and my first high score was 85,879,240. Once the score is approved I'll be in 18th out of 22 participants so far.

Later on I played three more pinball games on the big cabinet, which were The Addams Family, The Godfather and Time Lord.

I also played five pinball games on the mini cabinet, which were Godzilla, Great Houdini, Jaws, No Fear and The Big LeBowski. While playing Godzilla I became high score #10 and Great Houdini I became high score #1. I had a super game of Great Houdini.

I worked out with the Synth Riders for a half hour with four songs, which were Keep On Smilin, Keep You In Line, Silent Movie and Watch Your Mouth. While doing Watch Your Mouth  earned two outstanding scores.

Larry started reading a book.

Reading is relaxing

 

We watched YouTube videos.

Larry bought Project Hail Mary from Amazon so this evening we watched it. After Larry went to bed I started to watched The Dark Knight movies of three. It was Batman Begins and I watched Ice Age from our collection of movies. I ended up doing 4,000 steps.

I continued working on The Blue Truck jigsaw puzzle.
