CCC Reflector
We had a rainy day.
Today is our last day at Bastrop State Park. We had four super days of camping at Copperas Campground. We did four outstanding hikes for a total of 13.25 miles and a couple of walks for a total of 4.75 miles.
The morning temperature at Bastrop State Park was 57 degrees and the high was 65 degrees. It rained all morning. At noon it stopped and sprinkled on and off for an hour or so. We didn't do any hiking, we just stayed in the Minnie reading. I played games.
Larry finished his book and started another one. I continued reading Knave of Diamonds by Laurie R. King.
Relaxing with a good book
I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Pyramid Adventure of 20 games. It took me 1 hour, 24 minutes and 59 seconds, which put me in 12th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
About 3:00 the rain had stopped, Larry checked the weather and it looked like the rain was gone for a bit. I decided to go for an hour walk via the park road. I walked 2.5 miles. As I walked the road I walked up a hill and by a park resident house we passed on the way. I walked all the way to some CCC buildings and a paved hiking loop about the history of the park. I saw the CCC Reflector (group meeting building), two Historic CCC Building, a CCC water fountain, a group fire ring area and the old golf course paved paths (you can walk on). As I walked I saw retaining walls built by the CCC. It was a nice walk/hike.

After dinner I walked for 45 minutes and went 2.30 miles. I walked the campground four times and said hi to some of the other campers.
