Friday 12-12-25 Preparation for Trip, Workout, Dancing & More

 

Celebrate It's Friday

 

We had an outstanding day doing this and that. The weather was very nice with the low of 45 degrees and the high of 70 degrees.

 

I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Klondike Adventure of 20 games. It took me 1 hour, 37 minutes and 25 seconds, which put me in 19th in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

 

Larry spent the day getting to know Thread and how it works. He spent a lot of time trying to setup routines on the new Echo Show. 

 

After lunch I continued to get the Minnie ready for the trip. I made the bed and put more stiff inside the Minnie. Tomorrow I only have to put a few more stuff in the Minnie.

 

Then I did a little housework.

 

Afterwards I worked out using Synth Riders for 40 minutes. I hadn't used it for 11 days so I didn't get any outstanding scores but some were pretty close. I worked out with four songs, which were Galaxy Joyride (3:50), Satanic Panic (3:01), Star Fighter (3:18) and Vampirevania (4:11). I earned one new high score, which was the second time playing with Satanic Panic.

I played a game of Pirate's Plunder on Bounce Arcade for 25 minutes. I earned a silver trophy and an extra ball. I raised the sails three times, I got three Jolliest Rogers, one Cutlass Clash and one Skeleton Skull. I defeated my enemies three turns and earned a victory round. I had a great game.

I played seven games of pinball, which were Blizzard of Ozz, Dracula, Elvira House of Horrors Red Blood Kiss, Magic Pinball, Phantom of the Opera, The Addams Family and World Cup Soccer. While playing Blizzard of Ozz I came in high score #2 and Dracula I came in high score #4. I had fun.

In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 pm for an hour. She called four tips to 9 participants. It was a small group but we all had fun.

After the dance we watched a movie off of Kanopy called My Salinger Year. It was about a young girl, Joanna, who becomes an assistant to Margaret, who is a stoic and old-fashioned literary agent of J.D. Salinger (an American author). Her job was to read Salinger's fan mail and answer them. The movie was based on memoir by Joanna Rakoff, who is an American novelist and memoirist. It was an ok movie. After Larry went to bed I watched Aquaman from our collection of movies. I ended up doing 2,000 steps.   

 

When I went to bed at 1:15 am and we had seven deer bedded down in our backyard. They had been there for a couple of hours.
