Awesome Day
We had an awesome day. The skies were blue and without clouds. The low temperature was 34 degrees, the high was 68. There was wind out of the south. My allergies were stirred up by the evening. My eyes were itchy.
This morning Larry replaced the Wemo light switch in his workroom closet with a new switch, this is one of the switches that will stop working in a few weeks. After replacing the switch he had to set it up in Home Assistant and Alexa.
I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Klondike and 3 Tri Peaks). It took me 13 minutes and 44 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2>
We spent most of the day in Liberty Hill dancing C1 and A2. We left the house about 10:00 am so we could pickup a package waiting for us at the UPS Store. The package was from Shirley (Larry's mom). It was Christmas gifts and goodies (fudge and rice krispy treats). We arrived in Liberty Hill about 11:10 am. Larry parked the car in a parking lot and we had lunch we brought with us.

After lunch we continued our adventure to the Ski's house for the dance. We got there at 11:45 am. We said our hellos to Henry, Susan, Kay, Bob and their dog Bailey. Henry, Susan, Larry and I danced C1 to Johnny Preston for an hour via tape. We danced a lot of phantom moves and had a great time. At 1:00 pm the A2 dancers showed up to dance. We had enough people for two squares and three extra dancers. John Carlton and his wife (Sharon) showed up with John Kephart to dance and help call the dance. John Kephart called the whole dance except for one tip, he let John Carlson call the second to last tip. I brought a dessert called Krusteaz Cinnamon Swirl Crumb Cake. I had a lot of positive comments. Bruce and Henry loved it and asked for the recipe. I told them it was made from a box. Henry was so impressed he went to the internet and looked it up. We had fun dancing with friends.

We got home about 4:30.
After dinner I played seven pinball games, which were Big Bar Bang, Blizzard of Ozz, Dracula, Goldeneye, Magic Pinball, Phantom of the Opera and The Big LeBowski. While playing Magic Pinball I became high score #4. I almost got a new high score (6,576,670) for the weekly challenge of Phantom of the Opera. My high score (6,706,760) for Phantom of the Opera puts me in 15th place of 27 participants so far. I had a good time playing pinball.

In the evening we watched another movie from Kanopy, which was The Bookshop. It was based on the novel with the same name by Penelope Fitzgerald. It's about a young widow, who opens a bookstore in a small East Anglian town in 1959. People from the town opposed it and fought to get it closed. It was a good movie. When Larry went to bed I watched Mary Poppins. The 1964 movie starring Julie Andrews and Dick Van Dike. I ended up doing 2,000 steps.
