Tuesday 11-11-25 Dancing in Liberty Hill & Cold Front

 

Cold Front

 

We had another cold morning. The low was 36 degrees and the high was 72 degrees. We had a strong wind so it made it feel colder.

We spent the day in Liberty Hill at the Ski's house dancing to John Kephart. We arrived at the Ski's house at 11:40 and the gate was closed. Larry called Bob to ask him to open the gate. He said Kay and him weren't home but their daughter was going to be there at noon to open the house for us to dance. He told Larry how to open the gate. We drove inside and Susan followed us in. Shortly afterward Henry showed up. The Ski's daughter showed up a couple minutes before noon to open the house. We were greeted by the Ski's dog Baily. Henry, Susan, Larry and I danced C1 via tape for an hour. We danced to Johnny Preston and tried to dance to Don Moger. We had a great time dancing with Henry and Susan. The A dancers showed up a little before 1:00 to dance until 3:00 to John Kephart. We had enough dancers for two squares and one extra man. John worked shopped Motivate and Scoot Chain Thru. We had a fun afternoon dancing with friends and to John.

On the way home we stopped and filled up the car with gas. Then we went and got the Minnie out of storage. Larry wants to check some things on it. 

We got home at 4:30 and I barbecued Italian sausage links for dinner. 

After dinner I started to playing games while watching YouTube videos. 

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed last night. I did the event today, which was Event: Solitaire World Tour of 30 games. It took me 3 hours, 41 minutes and 47 seconds, which put me in 7th place in my group. It took me so long because I got stuck on solving the Free Cell Expert game. I played Angry Birds and Friends and Angry Birds 2. 

I played four games of pinball, which were Xenon, Willy Wonka, Willow and The Godfather. While playing Willow I entered my initials as high score #1.

We watched the first Transformers movie from our collection, which was Transformers. We had this movie and watched it before. We enjoyed watching it again. When Larry went to bed I watched a couple of movies from our collection, which were OOOPS! Noah Is Gone and Jesse Stone: Thin Ice. I had already watched OOPS! Noah Is Gone but I didn't remember until I started to watch it. It's a cute animation adventure movie about Noah's Ark. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.
