Thursday 11-13-25 Vaccinations, Minnie Projects and Workout

Doing This and That

We kept busy today doing this and that. The weather was very nice. We're back to having warm temperatures. The low was 57 degrees and the high of 82 degrees.

We started the day out going to town. We drove both the Minnie and Equinox. We had an appointment at HEB to get our COVID and Flu vaccinations at 9:00 am. It only took a few minutes. We are all set for another year. Our arms are sore where the shots were given to us.

Next was to drive around Belton to find a shop to work on the Minnie. We stopped at three different shops. The first shop said they don't do alignments nor do they work on RVs. The second shop said they don't work on RVs. The last stop was McGuire Tire, they said no problem because our Minnie was 21' and it can fit on the ramps. We dropped it off at 10:00 and went home.

They called us an hour later and said it was ready. The alignment was out a bit and they set it to factory specs. Larry asked if they found anything that needed to be replaced. They said all the front end components were ok and not worn out. We were very impressed the service was fast and the people were friendly. After lunch we went and picked the Minnie up.

When we got home Larry put the air pressure sensors and hubcaps back on. He left the hubcap off of the passenger side front tire. This morning he double checked the air pressure on all the tires and found that one low. He discovered the valve stem was a bit loose, apparently the tire shop didn't get it tightened. He tightened it up and put air in the tire, in the morning he will check it again to make sure that was the problem. If the tire is low we'll take it back to Discount Tires.

Minnie Projects

I played my Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Pyramid Mini of 5 games. It took me 31 minutes and 3 seconds, which put me in 37th place in my group. I had a hard time keeping my eyes open while playing. Then I played Angry Birds and Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I worked out with the Synth Riders for a half hour with four songs twice. The songs were Paris Night Walk (3 minutes and 42 seconds), Underdog (4 minutes and 11 seconds), ID (3 minutes and 43 seconds) and Out Burst (2 minutes and 18 seconds). While working out I earned six new high scores and six outstanding (no misses).

After working out I played two games of Monster Manor on Bounce Arcade. The first game didn't last long but the second game I earned a silver trophy. During this game I woke up the manor twice and tried to stun the manor twice and was successful once. I earned a skeleton key and busted the banister. I tried to get the spider multiball but was unsuccessful. I had a good game.

After dinner I played seven games of pinball. They were Star Trek the Next Generation, Monster Bash, Nightmare Before Christmas, Willy Wonka, Dark Chaos, Creature From The Black Lagoon and Xenon. I didn't get on the board but had fun.

I worked on my jigsaw puzzle.

In the evening we watched Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, which is the second movie in the series of seven. The Transformers movie have a lot of action and is science fiction. We enjoy the movies. When Larry went to bed I watched the 7th out of 9 Jesse Stone movies, which was Jesse Stone: Innocents Lost. I also watched Toy Story 4 from our movies. It's an animation movie about the adventure of toys. It's cute like the first one, which I watched many years ago. I ended up doing 2,000 steps.
