Sunday 11-9-25 New Pinball Challenge, Movies & Games

 

Cooler weather

 

It's nice finally getting some fall weather. The weather forecast for this morning was wrong, they predicted it would get into the 30's and it only got down to 55. They were right about the wind, it did come up. The wind was out of the north. The high temperature was 66 degrees. 

Larry found a sale on some digital movies, he purchased a few and added them to our movie collection. Now I have a few "new" movies to watch. 

I spent the day playing games and working on the jigsaw puzzle. I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: The Hard Road of 16 games. It took me 1 hour, 55 minutes and 8 seconds, which put me in 13th place on my group. Then I played Angry Birds and Friends and Angry Birds 2.

Today started a new Weekly Challenge in pinball. Last week's challenge was Avatar. I played it before it stopped and got a new high score of 68,148,510. This score put me in 23rd place out of 74 participants. This week the challenge is Xenon. My first high score for the week is 131,790, which put me in 12th place.

I also played six other pinball games, which were Nightmare Before Christmas, World Cup Soccer, Playboy, Road Show, Junk Yard and Attack From Mars. I played Junk Yard three times before I was happy with my score. While playing Playboy I played the Mansion Mania and entered my initials on the board as a champion playing mansion mania. I had a good day of playing pinball.

In the evening we watched Men In Black 3 from our movies. It was a cute movie about protecting the earth from dangerous aliens. When Larry went to bed I watched two movies from our movies, which were Maleficent and Jesse Stone: Death In Paradise. Maleficent stars Angelina Jolie as Maleficent. It's a fantasy movie with a vengeful fairy. I enjoyed watching it again. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.
