It's Summertime |
The Corps of Engineers opened Roger's Park boat ramp Friday so it's time to get the boat ready. This morning Larry put the battery back into the boat. Then he made sure that all the hoses were put on correctly. Next he checked the air pressure in the tires. Afterwards we pulled the boat out of the garage. We hooked a water hose attachment to the bottom of the boat in order to run water into the engine. The boat started right up and ran perfect. Then we loaded our wake surfer, air chair and wake board. The last thing we did was put the platform on the back of the boat. Now the boat is ready for the season.

After finishing the boat we went to town to pick up a bottle of spray on wax.
After lunch I was cleaning one of our Corelle soup bowls and it slipped out of my hand. It hit the ceramic tile and it shattered into a zillion pieces. I cleaned up as much as I could and then I vacuumed the rest up.
I spent the afternoon working on my puzzle and doing the Solitaire Challenge Event. It has 30 games in it. It took me a few hours to solve them.
In the evening we went to Sun City to dance with the Sundancers. They weren't in the normal place, today they were at the Retreat building. It is a new Community Center Building. It is gorgeous. The room we were in had vinyl flooring and was great to dance on. The sound was very good. We had a small group for both the class and dance. The class had three squares. We learned three new moves, Relay the Ducey, Fan the Top and Explode the Wave. For the actual dance we had four squares for Mainstream and three squares for Plus. We had four couples of an A tip. We had a super evening of dancing with friends and to Brad.
