We had a fantastic day.
On Fridays we dance to Randy Dougherty for the entire day at a church. Every Friday the ladies from the church are there to cook a dinner to support their homeless program so we get to enjoy the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. Today they also provided coffee and Mexican Wedding Cookies for the dancers. You could donate whatever you wanted. Larry and I don't drink coffee but we ate some of the cookies so we donated some money. The cookies we delicious. Our first dance today was a Plus DBD Dance. Our friends Mike and Pat showed up today. We haven't seen them since last year so it was great to see them. We had exactly three squares of dancers so no one sat out any tips. Randy did a super job of making the dance very challenging and fun.
We went to El Pollo Loco for lunch. We shared their shredded chicken nachos. They were very good.
After lunch we returned to the church for an A2 Dance which is called Freaky Friday. It's called this because Randy makes it very challenging and puts you in weird positions. We had exactly five squares so once again nobody got to sit out. We had another great dance with friends and Randy.
By the time we got back to the Minnie we were exhausted, we have been dancing two times a day and on Wednesday we danced three times. We're glad that the weekend is here so that we can relax. The only weekend dance is Joe Saltel's Saturday night dance.
We spent the evening reading. What a fantastic day we had.
