Wednesday 3-4-26 Two Virtual Dances, Workout, Puzzle & More

 


Overcast Day


We had an warm overcast day with wind. The morning temperature was 70 degrees and the high was 87 degrees. About 8:30 pm a front come through and we got a little rain.

I attended two virtual square dances. Usually on Wednesday I attend three but Dave Eno cancelled his night C1/A2 dance due to a project he had to finish by midnight.

First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 am for an hour and fifteen minutes. Di called all five tips this week and Terry danced with her. She continued working on the new moves that were put on the Plus list. The moves were Scoot and Dodge, Partner Tag, Quarter Thru and Left Quarter Thru, Walk and Dodge, Partner Hinge, Circle Halfway and Clover And. Di called to 11 dancers. I had a great time dancing with friends from U.S.A, Canada/Mexico and U.K.  

Second was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 pm for an hour. She called four tips to 15 dancers. I danced a lot better this week. I had a fun time dancing with friends from Canada, Germany, Netherlands, Australia and the U.S.A.

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. It took me 46 minutes and 12 seconds, which put me in 20th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

After Ett's dance I worked out on the Wii Fit for a half hour. I did one routine in the Aerobics, which was Rhythm Boxing for eight minutes. I did six routines with the Strength Training part for 11 minutes, which were Single-Leg Extension, Torso Twists, Single-Leg Twist, Sideways Leg Lift, Triceps Extension and Lunges.  I did four routines with Yoga for 8 minutes, which were Half-Moon, Warrior, Standing Knee and Chair. I did Perfect 10 twice for four minutes.

I worked out on the Synth Riders for fifteen minutes to two songs twice, which were Get Up My Keys and Raw. I also worked out with Gold's Gym for fifteen minutes using their routine of Cross Punch for six and a half minutes, Beginning Combo for five and a half minutes and Mitt Work for three minutes.

I played ten games of pinball. I played five games on the mini cabinet, which were Big Buck Hunter Pro, Cactus Canyon, The Goonies, Three Angels and Transformers. While playing Transformers I became Grand Champion. I played five games on the big cabinet, which were Dark Chaos, JP Space Cadet, Metallica, The Godfather and Transformers. While playing JP Space Cadet I became high score #1. While I was playing Transformers I became high score #3. I had a good day of pinball.

While I danced, played games and worked out Larry read. He finished reading a book and started another one.




Relax with a good book



In the evening we finished watching The English Patient. It was a great movie, it took place during World War II. When Larry went to bed I watched Fiddler on the Roof from our movies collection. I ended up doing 4,000 steps.

While I was watching television I worked on my jigsaw puzzle.
