Wednesday 3-11-26 Trip Preparation Begins & Dancing

Hot humid day

We had another hot humid day. The morning temperature was 62 degrees and the high was 81 degrees. We had rain in the morning. It started to dry out in the afternoon.

I attended three virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 11:00 am for an hour. They called five tips to 11 dancers. Terry called the first tip and Di called the other four tips. Di continued calling the moves from A1, that were moved to Plus. The moves were Quarter Thru (right and left), Clover And, Scoot and Dodge, Partner Hinge and Partner Tag. I had a great time dancing to Terry and Di and with friends from the United Kingdom, United States, Canada and France.

Second was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 pm for an hour. Ett send an e-mail to the dancers and said, that Loren Smith from Canada was covering for her. Larry danced with me the whole dance because there wasn't a lot of couples dancing for Loren to cue off of. Loren called five tips to 11 dancers. He doesn't cue the moves anymore because we have been dancing virtually for six years. He feels that he would give us too much cueing. He did walk us through moves we were having problems with. He is always a pleasure to dance to. We had a super time dancing with friends from the United States, Canada, Netherlands and Germany.

Third was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 pm for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped Dave call the dance. The format was three tips of C1 to 8 dancers, three tips of A2 to 9 dancers and two Trivia questions in between the A3 tips. I had a great time dancing to Dave, Karin and Greg and with friends from United States, Australia and Canada.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed, The event was Event: Two Game Tango of 20 games (10 Spider and 10 Tri Peaks). It took me 1 hour, 32 minutes and 6 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

After Loren's dance we went to the storage center to get the Minnie. We're planning to go on our Spring Trip next week. When we got to the house Larry backed the Minnie in the driveway. He wants to replace the rear shocks and thought it would be a bit easier if he backed it in and raised it with the leveling blocks.

I worked out with Gold's Gym for a half hour. I did the Prepared Workout and a Warm Up lesson from the Advance Lesson Selection. The Prepared Workout was 6 minutes (Beginning Combo), 14 minutes (Uppercut Combo) and 3 minutes with Punch Dodge, which was for 23 minutes. I did the Forward and Back Step Combo for 7 minutes.

I played six games of pinball. I played three pinball games on the mini cabinet, which were Batman Forever, Dead Pool and No Fear. While playing No Fear I became high score #3. I played three pinball games on the big cabinet, which were Elvira and the Party Monsters, Mission Impossible and Willie Wonka. While playing Elvira and the Party Monsters I got another high score of 1,846,790, which put me in 57th place out of 62 participants. When I played Willie Wonka I became high score #2. I had a good day of playing pinball.

After the last dance we watched a movie on Kanopy called The Summer Book. The movie was about a nine year old girl (Sophia) spending the summer with her grandmother and father. It was a very slowly moving movie and wasn't that good. After Larry went to bed I finished watching The Puzzle Lady on PBS. Then I watched The Suicide Squad from our movies collection. I ended up doing 2,500 steps.

While I watched television I worked on my jigsaw puzzle.
