Cold Day
Today was a cold day with a wind out of the north. The morning temperature at 6:00 am was 28 degrees and the high temperature was 65 degrees. The weatherman was right about it being cold. Tomorrow it's suppose to be 79 degrees. What weird weather we're having, one day it's cold and the next day it's hot.
In the morning we hung around the house waiting for it to warm up a bit.
Happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone.
We didn't go to Liberty Hill today to dance because we have too much to do to get ready for our trip. We're planning to leave Friday if the weather permits. But we did dance A2 virtually to Di Green and Terry McCann at 11:00 am for an hour. Di called the whole dance, which was five tips to fifteen dancers from United Kingdom, United States,, Canada and France. Terry danced with Di the whole dance but didn't call. Di workshopped a few moves, which were Cast A Shadow, Hourglass, Cut The Hourglass and Spin The Windmill Right and Left. Today was another St. Patrick's Day dance, where dancers wore green and other St. Patrick's item to celebrate the day. Di did a great job of calling. Larry danced four of the tips with me. We had a super time dancing with friends.

After the dance we went to town to stop our mail delivery until we get back from our trip. Afterwards we stopped at Mister Car Wash to give the Equinox a bath. We hadn't been at this car wash in many years. It did a great job of cleaning the Equinox but we were surprised they didn't have towels to wipe down your vehicle. You could buy a towel for $1.00 but we had our own. We usually go to Today's Car Wash where they supply towels for free and it's a little cheaper for the wash. Overall our experience was very good. When we finished giving the Equinox a bath we stopped at Fuzzy's Taco Shop for lunch. We tried it out many years ago when it first opened. We were not impressed but we thought we would give it another try. We shared their shredded brisket nachos. Larry didn't eat but one or two bites, he didn't like it, they covered the nacho's with a cheese spread that was more of an alfredo sauce. The brisket didn't have much of a taste. I ate a lot of it but I wasn't impressed by it. The atmosphere was very nice and the service was good.
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Easy Street of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 6 minutes and 45 seconds, which put me in 18th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
I worked out with the Wii Fit for a half hour and Gold's Gym for a half hour.
While working out with the Wii Fit I decided on doing the Balance Games for 10 minutes, which were Soccer Heading (2 minutes), Penguin Slide (2 minutes), Snowboard Slalom (2 minutes) and Table Tilt Advance (4 minutes), the Aerobics for 6 minutes, which were Basic Run: Long Distance (2 minutes) and Rhythm Boxing (4 minutes), Strength Training for 8 minutes, which were Arm and Leg Lift (10 rep per leg for 3 minutes, Single-Arm Stand (6 rep for 2 minutes) and Torso Twist (6 rep for 3 minutes) and Yoga for 6 minutes, which were Standing Knee (2 minutes), Sun Salutation (2 minutes) and Downward-Facing Dog (2 minutes). I tried a couple new exercises in the Strength Training and they were very hard. The Arm and Leg Lift was where you get on all four on a mat and lift one arm and the opposite leg at the same time using a controller. The Wii will tell you if your arm is too high or too low. I didn't do too good. The other one was Single-Arm Stand was where you hold your arm up at the same time as you lay down on the mat and pull yourself to a standing position. I cheated because I couldn't really do it because I have a hard time pulling myself up to the standing position at the time the Wii gives me. It said I did very well but I didn't stand up most of the time. I don't know when I'll try it again but I had fun.
