Tuesday 12-10-24 A2 Dance, Pinball Project, Diamond Painting & Games

 

Chilly Windy Day

We had a chilly windy day with the high of 54 degrees. The wind was strong and out of the north so it was chilly. 

We started the day out by attending Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A2 dance at 10:00 for an hour. Di and Terry took turns calling five tips to 8 participants. We just danced to Di and Terry calling. When they see dancers having problems they would walk through the sequence again. Larry dance four of the five tips with me. We had a great time dancing with friends.

Larry spent the day working on his mini pinball cabinet. Today he worked on a small lip on the top of the machine so he could open the lid easier. He built the extension out of plastic. Then he experimented on what glue to use for the plastic to the wood of the cabinet. Yesterday, we watched a few YouTube videos on different glues and epoxies to use for gluing plastic. He tried JB Weld original and was not real happy wit the results. We made a trip to Walmart to buy some epoxy. When we got home he experimented with the epoxy JB Weld. It was suppose to setup in 5 minutes but after an hour it still wasn't setup.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event today was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. It took me I hour, 17 minutes and 11 seconds, which put me in 21st place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

After lunch I worked out with The Synth Rides for 45 minutes. 

I played the four games on Bounce Arcade. The games are Gunpowder Gulch (2), Asteroid Outpost (3), Monster Manor (2) and Pirate's Plunder (2). Each games has five objectives to accomplish while playing. Everyday I'm getting better at playing the games. When I played Asteroid Outpost I started the generator, which is one of the five objectives. When playing Monster Manor I lit up the Manor and got rid of a few ghosts, which were two of the five objectives. When playing Pirate's Plunder I didn't set sail or load the canons but I did complete The Jolliest Roger, which was one of the five objectives. When playing Gunpowder Gulch I did the Outlaw Showdown, which was one of the objectives. I failed the outlaw showdown because I shot the civilians instead of the lawmen. I succeeded on getting a new high score in all the games except Asteroid Outpost. I'm having a lot of fun learning and playing the games. Pictures below will show some of the fun.

I played four different games of pinball; The Lord of the Rings, Fish Tales, Cactus Canyon and Scared Stiff. I didn't play too well but I had fun.

I worked on my diamond paintings of Mandala.

In the evening we watched a couple of episodes of Elementary . I watched The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers and an episode of Everwood. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
