Friday 12-13-24 Pizza Night, Dancing & More

 

Rainy Day

We had an overcast day with rain. By mid-afternoon the rain came in. The rain was lite and a little steady. The high temperature was 63 degrees.

Larry kept busy working on his mini pinball machine. He continued installing electronic parts and getting them to work together.

I worked on my diamond painting the Mandala.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Free Cell Adventure of 20 games. I only did 17 of them. I worked on the event for 1 hour, 8 minutes and 50 seconds before giving up. Then I played Angry Birds.

I worked out with the Synth Rider for 45 minutes. I played Pirate's Gulch and Asteroid Outpost. I played Pirate's Gulch twice and Asteroid Outpost once. While playing Pirate's Gulch I did three of the events: Shoot Out, Barrel and the Jail Breakout Multi-ball. I did the Shoot Out a couple of times and failed. I did the Barrels, where you hit the barrels before they hit the ground a couple of times and failed. I did the Jail Breakout once. I ended up getting a new high score and a bronze metal. When I played Asteroid Outpost. I started the generator a couple of times, did the Asteroid Mining and tried to start the multi-ball. I ended up getting a bronze metal and a new high score. I had a great time.

I played four pinball games. I played the weekly challenge of The Lord of the Rings and three James Bond games, which were Dr. No, 60th Anniversary and Goldeneye. A color DMD was released for Goldeneye so this morning Larry installed it. The DMD is where your score is. It looks great.

Years ago I started cooking a frozen pizza on Friday nights for dinner. Lately I cook the pizza on the grill. It comes out very good. Today I put a three meat pizza on the grill for 22 minutes and it came out very good.

In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 for an hour. Ett called four tips to 9 participants. We just danced and she did repeat a sequence when the dancers were having problems with. I had a fun dancing with friends.

After the dance we relaxed in front of the television. We watched a few episodes of Elementary. Then I watched Chocolat and an episode of Everwood. I ended up doing 17,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
