Wednesday 12-11-24 Dance Day, Pinball Project, Diamond Painting & More

 

Busy Day

We had a gorgeous day with a lot of sunshine and the high of 62 degrees.

Larry started the day off by working on the mini pinball cabinet. While I danced Larry kept busy working on the mini pinball machine. He found that Elmer's Glue worked the best on holding plastic to wood.

I started the day off by doing some housework.

I attended three virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour. Di and Terry took turns calling five tips to 7 participants. Robin asked Di to work on Peel The Top. So Di worked the move in the first tip. She called it in both the right and left formation. Most of the dancers wore Christmas headpieces because Di had sent an e-mail stating she was going to call to Christmas songs. I had a super time dancing to Di and Terry and with friends.

Second was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 for an hour. She called five tips to 14 participants. She called a lot of Chase Your Cross Neighbor from both the right left side and Cross Your Neighbor. I danced very well I think I made it back home over 90% of the time. I had a fun hour dancing to Ett and with friends.

Third was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. He was back from his three week vacation in Thailand. It was nice to see him. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped Dave call the dance and covered the full dances he was gone. The format was three tips of C1, three tips of A2 and two Trivia questions in between the A2 tips. During the C1 tips we had 10 participants and during the A2 tips we had 10 participants. I had a great evening of dancing with friends.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games (5 Klondike and 5 Tri Peaks). It took me 31 minutes and 11 seconds, which put me in 10th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

In the afternoon after Ett's dance I worked out with the Synth Riders for an hour. I played  Gunpowder Gulch three times and Asteroid Outpost twice on Bounce Arcade. When playing Gunpowder Gulch I got a new high score for myself. While playing Asteroid Outpost I started the generator on the ship and tried to do the next step to start the ship. I had fun playing both games.

I played four different games of pinball. They were Big Buck Hunter Pro, Fish Tales, Judge Dredd and The Lord of the Rings. Today the color DMD worked in Judge Dredd, I was happy for that because I could see what my score was through out the game. Thank, you Larry. I had a good hour of pinball playing.

After the last dance we finished watching the second season of Elementary. When Larry went to bed I watched The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King and watched an episode of the first season of Everwood. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
