Sunday 12-15-24 Rainy Day, Pinball Project, Diamond Painting & New Challenge

 

Rainy Day

We had a rainy day. It was overcast all day with an occasion sprinkle. The high was 79 degrees. 

After taking a day off from working on the mini pinball cabinet Larry was back on it. He continued wiring and installing the electronic components. It got to where he could start the machine. It powered up and worked good.

I did the Daily Challenges in Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Easy Street of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 9 minutes and 9 seconds, which put me in 12th place in my group. Then I played Angry Bird.

Today is the beginning of the week so I got a new weekly challenge in pinball, which is Theatre of Magic. We already have it loaded on our cabinet so Larry just had to change it from 5 balls to 3. Before doing so he made sure it was the right version. While doing this he discovered and installed a VR room for it. He also reset last week's challenge The Lord of the Rings back to 5 balls. He played Theatre of Magic after he loaded the VR room. He had a great time.

I played six different pinball games. They were The Lord of the Rings, Theatre of Magic, Nightmare Before Christmas, Cactus Canyon, Metallica and Willy Wonka. I played The Lord of the Rings before the challenge was over and failed to get a new high score. For the week I came in 32nd place out of 57 participants. The new challenge, Theatre of Magic, my first high score was 257,150,190. While I played Metallica I entered my initials as high score #4. I had a great time playing pinball.

I played Gunpowder Gulch and Asteroid Outpost on Bounce Arcade. I got a bronze metal in both.

In the evening we continued watching the fifth season of Miss Scarlet. Then I watched Star Trek and a couple of episodes of Everwood. I ended p doing 17,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place for the week in my group.
