Smile and be happy
We had another nice day with a high of 86 degrees.
We started the day by going to The Home Depot. Larry has completed building the computer for a portable virtual reality pinball machine. Now he is getting ready to build a cabinet. For this he decided he would use plywood, we found a nice piece. While there we picked up a couple of covers for the faucets outside. As we were walking around we noticed they were getting ready for Black Friday. They had a lot of items in the aisle way for it. They had a great price on AA batteries so we picked up a 60 pack.
When we got home we unloaded the plywood. When putting the batteries away we noticed we were low on AAA batteries so we will probably pick some up.
We got home it time for me to get ready for my first dance, which was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour. Today Di called the dance because Terry wasn't feeling well but he still danced with her. She called five tips to 11 participants. She cued the whole dance. We were having trouble with Spin Chain The Gears so she walked us through the move a few times. I had a super time dancing to Di and with friends.
The second dance was Ett McAtee's Weekly C1 at 1:00 for an hour. She called four tips to 13 participants. Today it was a little challenging because she didn't cue any of the moves and she put us in positions we weren't used to being in. It was an ok dance.
The third dance was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:00 for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped Dave call the dance. The format was 3 tips of C1 with 7 participants, 3 tips of A2 with participants and 2 Trivia questions. I had a great time dancing with friends.
Get a partner and dance
I worked out with the Synth Riders for an hour in between Di and Ett's dances.
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Easy Street Mini of 15 games. It took me 37 minutes and 38 seconds, which put me in 26th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.
I played four different games of pinball. They were Fish Tales, Godzilla, NASCAR and Willy Wonka. I got a new high score for the weekly challenge of Fish Tale, which was 128,656,880. It moved me into 18th place out of 29 participants. I was the #8 high score in Godzilla.
Fish Tales
Godzilla
NASCAR
Willy Wonka
When Larry got his new VR pinball computer working the way he wanted he asked me if I wanted to play it. I played The Creature From The Black Lagoon. Larry had to explain how to play the game because it didn't have any buttons I had to use the keyboard. I used the shift keys for the flippers, enter key to shoot the ball and the number 1 button to start the game. While I played Larry watched to see how the machine performed, he used a performance monitor to see how hard the processors were working and how hot they got. He was very impressed, the performance was great. I had fun playing the game. I had to remember where to put my fingers after I removed them from the keys. I couldn't see because I was wearing the headset, I had to move the headset up a little bit and look out the bottom to see keys.
Later on he received some parts from France and China. One of the parts he installed on the plastic plate with the other parts. He has a ways to go but he is excited about how it's come out so far. He will use two monitors to make everything work correctly.
After the last dance we watched a movie on TUBI called Lamborghini: The Man Behind The Legend. It was based on a true story but it wasn't a very good movie. Then I watched Spider-Man: Far From Home. I continued watching the first season of Almost Paradise on Freevee. I ended up doing 17,000 steps, which put me in 2nd place in my group.
