Tuesday 11-5-24 Dancing, Computer Project, Crafting & Games

 

Awesome Day

It finally is starting to cool down to more like normal temperatures. The high was 73 degrees and there was a little breeze.

Larry started the day off by working on his computer build. He put the components together. Then he installed Windows to run the computer. He had problems getting the license to work. He had to call Microsoft, the process was a nightmare, he had to answer questions and the computer gave him a number to enter onto the computer. It required him to do this for a series of 9 sets of six numbers. Once he got through this process the license finally worked. He is still a long way from being done. Currently the computer is simply a motherboard with a lot of pieces attached to it, there is no case surrounding it. He still has not decided what the final project will be. He worked on it most of the day and he had a great time. Tomorrow will be loading software and running tests.

At 10:00 Larry took an hour off from his project to dance with me. This morning the dance was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A2. Di called five tips to 11 participants. Terry wasn't felling very well so Di called the whole dance. He felt well enough to dance with Di. When she was calling the third tip she workshopped Chain Reaction from different positions. Larry danced four of the tips. We had a super time dancing with Di and Terry and friends.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Easy Street of 30 games. It took me 1 hour, 15 minutes and 36 seconds, which put me in 17th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I did the weekly challenge of The Walking Dead and didn't get a a new score but I entered my initials as a high score each time I played, which was four time. I played six games of pinball using the Random button. I didn't enter my initials in the game as a high score but I had fun. The games were Aerosmith, Star Trek the Next Generation, Who Dunnit, Star Trek, Scared Stiff and Get Away.

I worked out with the Synth Riders for an hour.

In the evening we watched My Louisiana Sky, which was about a 12 year old girl who lives with mentally challenged parents in the small town of Satter Louisiana. It was an ok movie. Then I watched Black Widow. I started watching the third season of Whitstable Pearl. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
