Wednesday 11-16 Dancing & Pinball Project Continues

We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine. It was still cool, barely got to the 50s but very nice.

We spent the day working on the pinball machine. When I woke up Larry was already working on it. He drilled the holes to install the speakers. Then he worked on filler pieces between the upper monitor and cabinet. After I had breakfast I helped him. Once Larry installed the boards we assembled the entire cabinet to see what we needed to do to finish it up. It came out great. Now we could figure out how to build a filler piece for back of the playfield cabinet, we worked on that next. Then Larry sawed an angle on the two side boards in the back so they would be more flush with the rest of the area. Larry didn't like the board in the front of the playfield so we cut a new one and it looks a lot better. Then we sawed a ledge for the glass top of the playfield. We have not yet ordered the glass because we still don't know the exact size. We're almost finished making the three cabinets and then we will start to sand, paint and stain.

I attended two virtual square dances. First was Dayle Hodge's Weekly A1/A2 dance at 11:00 for an hour. Larry danced with me. Dayle called two A1 tips, two A2 tips and one four couple tip and had 10 participants. Dayle is calling more and more challenging every week. He cues and helps when necessary so it's fun. We had a super time dancing to Dayle and with friends.

Second one was Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 at 6:30 for two hours. This week Joe Uebelacker from Canada helped Dave call. The format was two C1 tips with 11 participants, five A2 tips with 13 participants and one C1 with 9 participants. Dave and Joe called one C1 tip a piece and the last C1 Joe called. They called two A2 tips a piece and took turns the last A2 tip. I had a great time dancing to Dave and Joe. It had been a long time since I danced to Joe and it was fun.

I played my games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event today was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games (5 Free Cell and 5 Pyramid). It took me 2 hours, 16 minutes and 25 seconds to complete, which put me in 19th place in my group. I played some Angry Birds.

After the Dave's dance we watched an episode of Death In Paradise. After Larry went to bed I watched the first movie of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I ended up doing 28,000 steps, which put me in 3rd place in my group.
