Saturday 11-12 Building the Top Cabinet & Keeping Warm

 

We woke up to a cold morning with the temperature of 35 degrees, it only got to 53 degrees. Not only was it cold it was windy.

We started the morning off by doing a bit more work on the legs of the cabinet. We changed out the hinges to some that are heavy duty and lock when they are open. They work very well, in fact they work so well that Larry disabled the lock on one of them. 

Next we started on the upper cabinet. It was still cold and windy outside so we cut the boards outside but measured and marked everything in Larry's workroom.  Once the boards were cut Larry drilled pocket holes. Then we screwed the sides together. Next we worked on the bottom piece. We got the piece to fit. Now we have to figure out how to assemble the piece to the frame.

After calling it a day I played games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event today was Event: Two Game Tango of 20 games (10 Klondike and 10 Spider0. It took me 1 hour, 51 minutes and 32 seconds to complete, which put me in 10th place in my group.

In the evening we started to watch an Amazon series called The English. It's a western, its not very good, way too much random violence. Then I watched one of our movies: The X-Files: I Want To Believe. Then I finished watching Bergerac. I ended up doing 27,000 steps, which put me in 2nd place in my group.
