Thursday 10-22-26 Minnie Projects, Games & Jigsaw Puzzle

 

Beautiful Day

We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine. The morning temperature was 55 degrees and the high temperature was 86 degrees.

We started the day off going to town for my appointment for my floor therapy with Rebecca at 8:00 am. Today I was introduced to a standing exercise. She was impressed, I'm doing good with the exercises. But it will take time to strength my pelvic muscles.   

Minnie Projects

We kept busy doing Minnie projects. After my appointment we took the Minnie to Discount Tire to get the tires rotated. We stopped in the old mall's parking lot to check the transmission fluid because it made a loud noise. Larry found the fluid was low so he put a half a quart of transmission fluid in it. Our appointment for Discount Tire was at 9:15. They got us in and out in about 40 minutes.

Next up was to fill the Minnie with propane at Ace Hardware Store.

By the time we got home it was time for lunch. When we finished our lunch we went outside to do a few more projects on the Minnie. Larry backed the Minnie on the side of the house so he could change the oil and oil filter. He crawled under the front and removed the oil filter and drained the old oil. Then he put fresh oil in. Next he started the Minnie to see if he needed to add any more oil. Then he used a funnel and put the old oil in the oil container. Then he cleaned the oil pan and funnel.

Then he backed the Minnie further back so he could dump the tanks. Then he moved the Minnie in front of the third bay of the garage. Next project was putting a Calgon and Dawn mixture into the toilet and kitchen sinks to flush them a little bit. While Larry did this I washed the wheels. The wheels had a lot of brake dust on them. After I finished Larry put the air pressure sensors back on. Before he did this he replaced the batteries. Once the sensors were installed we checked the air pressure on each tire. One was a little low so Larry put air in the tire so all the tires were the same, which was 60 to 61 psi. Next Larry put the hub caps back on the Minnie. The last project was refill a propane container for the portable gas grill. Now, the Minnie is close to being ready for it's next trip. We kept busy doing projects for a few hours.

Yesterday, I did play games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Experts Only of 10 games. It took me 1 hour, 45 minutes and 38 seconds to complete, which put me in 22nd place in my group. Today I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The daily event was Event: Pyramid Mini of 5 games. It took me 20 minutes and 30 seconds to complete, which put me in 32nd in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I didn't workout today but I did play 10 games of pinball. I played five games on the mini cabinet, which were Ace of Speed, Dead Pool, Nightmare Before Christmas, No Fear and The Goonies. While playing No Fear I became high score #2. I played five games on the big cabinet, which were Elvira Scared Stiff, Indiana Jones, Medieval Madness, Metallica and Monster Bash. I had a super day of playing pinball.

Before playing pinball on the big cabinet I asked Larry to fix the my headset so I could take pictures. Meta made a change and broke the photo taking feature. Larry found a new fix so I'll have to get use to using it.

We watched YouTube videos.

In the evening we watched F1 from our movies collection. It's about Formula 1 car racing. The movie was very good. After Larry went to bed I watched Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom from our movies collection.
