Celebrate it's Friday
We had a super day. It's Friday so celebrate with a happy dance.
The morning temperature was 55 degrees and the high temperature was 89 degrees. We had a little breeze, which made it very comfortable.
We spent most of the day doing a few more Minnie projects. First project was fixing a refrigerator shelf. While we were on our trip one of the shelves fell off the door of the refrigerator. This is the second one. that had done this. The bracket that hold the shelves in place are made of plastic. They are cheaply made so after having the weight from the jars and other containers in the selves they will break. Larry made a thick plastic hinge on his mill. He made sure that the shelf would slide over the hinge to hold it in place. Then he JB Welded the hinge to a plastic plate he made. He's letting it setup overnight. Tomorrow he'll glue it to the door using a Goop. He was going to use the Goop today but it dried up.

Second project was fixing the vent in the bathroom. The vent in the bathroom is over 30 years old and it has become brittle, a couple of the screws that hold it in place had broken through the plastic. Larry found some washers that were large enough to cover the broken piece. He screwed the screws back into the frame of the vent.

Third was working on the window board for installation. Larry had made covers using foamboard for the overhead windows years ago to help insulate the sleeping area. The covering on one of them has been coming off for a long time. Today Larry decided to fix it. He took the foamboard out and wiped down the board and the cover. Then he sprayed a glue on the board and back of the cover. Then he laid the cover down onto the board and smoothed it with his hand. Then he used a rolling pin to make sure the cover was smoothly on the board. He's letting the board dry overnight. Tomorrow we'll put the board back on the window.

Fourth Larry decided to remove the satellite radio from the Minnie because we don't use it anymore. He had to remove the dash to get to the wiring. This took a while. Then he removed the wiring and bracket, that holds the radio. Once he removed the wiring he put the dash back together.
After doing the first project for the Minnie we went to Ace Hardware Store. Larry needed to pick up some more Goop. Ace Hardware is the only place, that sold a small tube of the Goop. We have a new Ace Hardware Store, that opened in Temple. It is very close to where we live. It's smaller then the one in Belton but it's a lot closer. We walked around the store and checked it out. It's very nice.
After buying the Goop we went to Little Caesar's to buy a Hot-N-Ready pizza. They said they ran out of them and the replacement pizzas weren't going to be ready for a half hour. So we went to Firehouse Sub. We had a pleasant surprise. Our friends Jeanne and James Blackwell were there waiting for their son, daughter in-law and great grandson to show up. We hadn't seen them in a long time because they stopped square dancing due to medical reasons. We visited with them and met their family. It was a great visit. Larry and I shared an Italian and a bag of chips.
When we got back home Larry went back to doing the Minnie projects. While he did the projects I kept him company and if he needed my help I was there for him.
After the projects were done I played my games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The Daily Event was Event: Spider Adventure of 20 games. It took me 2 hours, 41 minutes and 25 seconds to complete, which put me in 11th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
I played six games of pinball. I played three games on the mini cabinet, which were Fun House, Great Houdini and Theatre of Magic. I played three games on the big cabinet, which were Indiana Jones, Michael and Willow. While playing Indiana Jones I got a new high score for the weekly challenge.
Fun House (Mini)
Great Houdini (Mini)
Indiana Jones (Big)
In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 for an hour. Ett called four tips to 7 participants. I had fun dancing to Ett and with friends. In between the tips we visited with each other.
I love square dancing
We watched YouTube videos.
After the dance we watched a movie on Kanopy called The Astronaut. It wasn't a good movie. After Larry went to bed I watched Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. By the end of the day I had done 3,000 steps. I also worked on my puzzle.
