Thursday 1-31 Another Day in The Valley

It's raining but still have fun

It sprinkled on and off this morning and by mid afternoon it stopped. It made the day a bit dreary.

We started the morning out by attending Randy Dougherty's A2 Workshop. He spent  a lot of time on reverse recycle which made it very challenging. We had four squares and three extra couples. Our friends Carolyn and Burt from the Austin area were there. They're new A dancers and are doing good. We had a super morning with Randy. 

In the afternoon we went to the Peppermint Palace to dance A2 with Bronc. We had three squares and two extra couples. Carolyn and Burt did an excellent job. Bronc did a super job. 

Every dance we have attended this week had significantly fewer dancers than we have had in the past few weeks, I hope this declined doesn't continue.

In the evening I went over to the clubhouse and played card bingo. The difference between bingo and card bingo is that decks of cards are used instead of balls. The participants have four people per deck of cards. The dealer will draw a card and tell you what card he drew. The first person that has the cards that were drawn says bingo. They get a payback. We play twelve rounds. We play six rounds and then we we take a break. We had 21 people at bingo tonight. The payback was $2, $2, $3, $3, $4 and $7. I won the first game but I had to share with another person so I only won $1. I always have fun playing card bingo.
