Friday 2-17-26 Ett's Dance, Projects, Workout & More

Doing the Happy Dance

It's Friday, do you have any plans for the weekend? We don't have anything on our agenda so we'll hang around the house.

We had another beautiful day with sunshine. The morning temperature was 48 degrees and the high was 83 degrees.

In the morning we did a couple of projects in garage. Larry started out by moving the truck and car out of the double bay.  We had a lot of boxes piled up in the third bay, some with stuff in them and some were empty. Larry wanted to either throw the stuff away, donate to Goodwill or put the boxes on the shelves. We sorted, arraigned and threw things away, now that part is done. Then Larry blew out the garage while I removed the cobwebs with a brush. The garage looks a lot better organized.

Today I decided to workout with the Wii Fit program and three Just Dance discs.  They were Just Dance 2014, Just Dance 2015 and Just Dance 2016. Because I was working out on a new console I had to start all over with each disc. Before I started the workout Larry created my Wii. He found out, that he could transfer my Wii characters from the old console to the new console.

I worked out with the Wii Fit for a half hour. It took longer about 50 minutes because I had to start all over. I had to choose my trainer and enter my information. I did the Wii Fit workout, which was 16 different activities. Each time I worked out with the trainer she walks you through the activity we were going to do. It was fun working out on the Wii Fit.

I worked out with three different Just Dance discs (2014, 2015 and 2016) for 10 minutes a piece. While working out with Just Dance 2014 the three songs were Feel This Moment, I Will Survive and It's You. While working out with Just Dance 2015 the three songs were Ain't No Mountain High Enough, You Spin Me Around (Like a Record) and Maps. While working out with Just Dance 2016 the songs were Same Old Love, All About the Bass and I Got A Feeling. When I finished each song because I started over I earned an avatar character. I had a great workout.

I worked on my jigsaw puzzle when I could. It's going slow but I don't work on the puzzle but an hour or two per day. I'm not in a hurry.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed. The event today was Event: Easy Street Mini of 5 games. It took me 9 minutes and 1 second, which put me in 14th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I played seven games of pinball. I played three games on the mini cabinet, which were Attack From Mars, Dead Pool and JP Space Cadet. While playing JP Space Cadet I became high score #4. I played four games on the big cabinet, which were Fast Break, Guns N' Roses, Iron Man and Scared Stiff. While playing Guns N' Roses I got a new high score of 953,067,910, which put me in 39th place out of 77 participants. I had a good day of playing pinball.

In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 pm for an hour. She called four tips to 15 dancers. In between the tips we talked about this and that. The dancers were from Canada, Australia and the U.S.A. I had fun dancing to Ett and with friends.

I love square dancing

After the dance we watched a movie on Kanopy called An Englishman in New York. It was a biographic movie about Quentin Crisp's later life in New York. He was a homosexual, who came to the United States and stayed in 1970s. It was a very good movie starring John Hurt as Quentin. After Larry went to bed I watched the second Kingsman, which was Kingsman: The Golden Circle. Then I watched Shrek 2 from our movies collection. I ended up doing 5,000 steps.
