Tuesday 2-3-26 Liberty Hill Dancing & Dentist Appointment

Overcast Day

We had an overcast day. The morning temperature was 61 degrees and the high was 69 degrees.

We started the day out by going to the dentist. Our appointment was at 8:00. It was our sixth month cleaning appointment. It didn't take long, we were finished a little before 9:00. On the way home Larry stopped by Jack & Jill Donuts to buy a few donuts for our breakfast.

By the time we got home it was 9:30. We rested for a little while before leaving to go to Liberty Hill for our weekly C1/A2 dance. We left the house at 10:15 and arrived in Liberty Hill about 11:20. We parked in a parking lot by a convenience store to have lunch.

After lunch we continued our adventure to the Ski's house to meet up with Susan and Henry to dance C1 for an hour using tapes. We had to wait a few minutes because Kay and Bob were doing errands. They apologized for being late. We were early, it wasn't noon yet. We were surprised to see Kay on crutches. She had an operation on her foot and has to be in a cast for six weeks. This week we danced C1 via Ross Howell two couple tape. We did a lot of phantoms because he called four couples moves. When we had problems with the move we helped each other and redid the sequence. We had a super time.

At 1:00 it was time for the two hour A2 session. John Kephart called seven tips of A2. We had enough dancers for one square and seven other dancers sat out. We used cards so we rotated in and out using the cards. John turned 74 years old last week, we didn't meet for the dance because of the weather so today we celebrated it during the dance. Kay had baked cupcakes (chocolate and vanilla). They were very good. When the dancers were having problems with a move John would walk us through it. We had fun dancing with friends in person.

On the way home from the dance we stopped by the UPS Store to pick up a package we had waiting for us. Larry had bought me a new (used) cell phone, it was suppose to be delivered yesterday but it came in today. Tomorrow, Larry will work on it. He's going to use my old phone for a project.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed last night. When we got home I did the daily event, which was Event: Easy Street Mini of 15 games. It took me 27 minutes and 38 seconds, which put me in 7th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

After dinner I played seven games of pinball. I played three games on the mini cabinet. They were Batman Forever, Medieval Madness and Monster Bash. I didn't get on the board on the mini but I had fun. I played four games on the big cabinet. They were Dark Chaos, JP Space Cadet, No Fear and World Joker Poker. Once again I didn't get on the board but had fun.

I worked on my jigsaw puzzle of The Cambridge by Charles Wysocki and finished it. I started it 1/16/26 and finished 2/3/26, which is 19 days. It was very challenging because some of the colors were very close to the same color. I had a great time doing it.

In the evening we watched the movie Annihilation on Kanopy. It was a 2018 science fiction movie starring Natalie Portman. We didn't like it. When Larry went to bed I watched the next super hero movie called Captain America: Civil War from our super hero movies collection. Then I watched Men In Black II. I ended up doing 3,500 steps.
