Sunday 2-15-26 Dancing to Loren, Olympics & New Pinball Challenge

Smile and have fun

We had another beautiful day. It started out overcast but cleared off in the afternoon. The morning temperature was 57 degrees and got up to 71 degrees. There was a breeze which kept the temperature a little cool.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Medium Mayhem Mini of 16 games. It took me 47 minutes and 6 seconds to complete, which put me in 23rd place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

Today started a new week for the pinball challenge, which is Who Dunnit. We have had this on the pinball cabinet previously but Larry removed it. We try to only keep games loaded that we enjoy the most otherwise we simply end up with too many games to choose from. Larry had installed the game before because it was a weekly challenge. He still had the files but there was a new version. He installed the new version on the big cabinet. Then he played it to make sure it ran correctly.

I continued working on my jigsaw puzzle.

We like the new water bottles we bought a month ago so Larry order three more. They came in today. They're not the same color as the old ones because the color wasn't available. The bottles are from the same company.

I played last weeks pinball challenge of The Game Show for a half hour before the challenge ended. I didn't get a new high score so I ended up with the score of 12,430,400. This score but me in 40th place out of 112 participants. When the new challenge started of Who Dunnit I played it. My first new high score was 907,411,600, which put me in 16th out of 22 participants so for. I also played three other pinball games on the big cabinet. They were Dracula, Junk Yard and Medieval Madness. While playing Medieval Madness I became the Grand Champion.

I played four games on the mini cabinet. They were No Good Goffers!, Tales of Arabian Nights, The Big LeBowski and Scared Stiff. While playing Tales of Arabian Nights I became Grand Champion. I got all seven jewels and tried to rescue the princess from the Genie. While playing The Big LeBowski I became high score #2. While I played No Good Goffers! and Scared Stiff I became high score #3. I had a great day playing pinball on the mini cabinet.

We attended Ett McAtee's Weekly C Series dance at 1:00 for an hour. This week it was C1 and Loren Smith was covering for her. He called four tips of C1 to nine dancers. During the C1 tips Loren worked on Tally Ho in different positions and All Eight Recycle. Loren is learning the C2 moves so he decided to call one tip at the end to the C2 dancers, which was seven dancers. Larry and I aren't C2 dancers so we thanked Loren and the rest of the dancers and signed off after the C1 session. We had a great time dancing to Loren and with friends from Australia, Canada and United States.

After the dance and during the evening we watched a few events of the Olympics. The events were Men's 4 X 7.5km Relay Cross Country Skiing, Snowboard Mixed Couple, Speed Skating Women's 500m and Short Program of Ice Skating Pairs.

After the Short Program we watched a few YouTube videos. When Larry went to bed I watched the next super hero movie, which was Spider-Man: No Way Home. Then I watched Sonic the Hedgehog from our movies collection. I ended up doing 2,000 steps.
