Friday 2-13-26 Friday the 13th, Olympics, Dancing and Projects

Happy Friday

It's Friday the 13th! Are you superstitious? I'm not. We had a super day.

It was a beautiful day with the morning temperature of 57 degrees and the high of 80 degrees.

We had a very productive day doing this and that.

Larry kept busy doing projects. He did a few electronic projects. Larry continues playing with the old cell phone. He has once again wiped it clean and started over. It seems every time he does this he has to work out some issue. Today he had to spend a lot of time getting voice output to work. He is having fun researching things and figuring them out. He has been using AI for lots of help.

The toilet handle on the master bathroom toilet broke. In order for Larry to fix it we had to go to The Home Depot to get the replacement part. He was going to order the part from Amazon but that meant we had to either use the second bathroom or pull the chain on the toilet everytime we used it.

We received the last of our tax forms so Larry did our taxes. Good news, we will be getting money back. Just in case a late change comes in we will wait a bit before we actually file them.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before going to bed last night. The event was Event: World Tour Mini of 10 games. It took me 54 minutes and 9 seconds, which put me in 19th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I worked out with the Synth Riders for 45 minutes. I worked out with five games twice. They were:  A Matter of Time, Interstellar, Rendezvous,  Sledge and We Were Young. I didn't get any outstanding score or new high scores but I had a great workout.

I played one game of Monster Manor on Bounce Arcade. I played the game for 15 minutes and earned a bronze trophy. During the game I awoken the manor twice, stunned the manor once, banister buster once and tried to do the spider multiball once. I played a good game.

I continued working on my jigsaw puzzle.

I played seven games of pinball. I played three games on the mini cabinet, which were Fish Tales, Jaws and Red & Ted's Road Show. While playing Jaws I became high score #3. I played four games of pinball on the big cabinet, which were JP Viper Night Driving, Nightmare Before Christmas, The Game Show and Willy Wonka. While playing The Game Show I got a new high score of 12,430,400, which put me in 25th place out of 78 participants.

We watched more of the Olympics. The events we watched were Men's Team Curling U.S. vs Canada, Snowboard Women's Cross Finals and Men's Free Skate Part 1.

We attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 at 6:30 for an hour and fifteen minutes. Loren Smith from Canada called the dance for Ett. He called four tips of A2 and one tip of C1. During the A2 tips we had 12 participants and the C1 tip we had 10 participants. Larry and I were the only couple dancing so a lot of the dancers pinned us. Liz thanked Larry for dancing because he helped her get in the right place because she dances the man's part. We had a super time dancing to Loren and with friends.

We love square dancing

After the dance we continued watching the Olympics. When Larry went to bed I watched the next super hero movie, which was Eternals. I ended up doing 5,000 steps.
