Sunday 2-1-26 Dancing with Loren, New Pinball Challenge & Workout

Beautiful Day

We had a beautiful day with sunshine. It was still cold. The morning temperature was 20 degrees and the high was 55 degrees at our house.

Larry spent most of the day trying to install a newer version of Android on a very old tablet. Tablet and phone updates are generally only supported by the manufactures for a few years, after that they will stay working but they don't receive any security updates. Larry's oldest tablet is from 2013 and has not had an Android operating system update in 10 years. He is attempting to install a version of Android that is only three years old. Even though others have done this it is quite a challenge. He still has a ways to go.

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before I went to bed last night. Today's event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 10 games (5 Free Cell and 5 Pyramid). It took me 42 minutes and 47 seconds, which put me in 22nd place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

I worked out with the Synth Riders for a half hour to four songs twice. They songs were Choices, Neo Tokyo, Sunset Hologram and Suppress It. I earned two new high scores and one outstanding score with Choices. I earned one new high score and two outstanding scores with Neo Tokyo. I earned two new high scores and one outstanding score with Sunset Hologram. I earned two new high scores and two outstanding scores with Suppress It. I had a great day of working out with Synth Riders.

I played one game of Asteroid Outpost on Bounce Arcade. I earned a silver trophy, mined the asteroids seven times and was successful once and I played one multiball. It was a great game.

Today is Sunday so I got a new weekly challenge in pinball, which is No Fear. We already have the game but the challenge is a newer version. Larry download the game and installed it on the big cabinet in both 2D and VR. Then he played it to make sure it worked correctly. Before last weeks challenge of Cactus Canyon was over I played it. I didn't get a new high score. My high score for the week was 64,749,770, which put me in 58th place out of 124 participants. When No Fear started I played it. My first high score for the week was 577,566,290, which put me in 17th place out of 21 participants so far.

I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly C Series dance at 1:00 because it was C1. Loren Smith covered for her. He called four tips to 9 participants. He worked on Relay The Top and Tally Ho because the dancers were having problems doing the moves. He did a super job calling and I had a great time.

I worked on my jigsaw puzzle the Cambridge.

In the evening we watched Catch Me If You Can on Hoopla. It starred Tom Hanks (Carl Hanratty), Leonardo DiCaprio (Frank Abagnale Jr.), Christopher Walken (Frank Abagnale), Nathalie Baye (Paula Abagnale) and many more stars. It was about a conman Frank Jr., who is being chased by the FBI lead by Carl Hanratty. It was a good movie. Then I watched Avengers: Age of Ultron, which was out of our superhero movies collection. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.
