Tuesday 1-13-26 Dancing with Di, Workout & Games

Awesome Day!!!

We had an awesome day.

In the morning it was overcast and we had a small shower about 9:45. It left about an hour late. It just drizzled just enough to dampen the ground. The morning temperature was 41 degrees and the high was 59 degrees.

We didn't go to Liberty Hill because Henry was in Mesa, Arizona for a dance. Instead we attended Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly A2 dance at 10:00 for an hour. Di called five tips to 13 participants. Di called the whole dance but Terry did dance with Di. We hadn't danced to Di and Terry since 12/10.25 over a month and was great to dance with them. Larry danced four of the five tips. We had a super time dancing with friends.

   We love square dancing

Before the dance I finished reading Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus. It was a great book, it was funny and terrifically written. The book was published in 2022 and is the only book she has ever written. If she writes another book I would love to read it.

Relaxing with a good book

Larry spent a good part of the day working on the pinball cabinet. Every once in awhile it has a very small stutter and he would like to stop it. He did some research and printed out things to try. Each time he made a change he played a game to see if it worked. By the end he found out all the things he changed didn't fully correct the problem. He put everything back the way it was, he will keep searching for something else to try.

Then he installed a new game on the mini cabinet called Pirates Life. It took him a long time to get it to work correctly. Once it was installed he played the game and had a great time. It's a super game with an outstanding VR room. So in two days we have two new pirates games on the mini cabinet, Pirates of The Caribbean and Pirates Life.

I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Two Game Tango of 20 games (10 Klondike and 10 Tri Peaks). It took me 1 hour, 13 minutes and 24 seconds, which put me in 10th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.

In the afternoon I worked out with the Synth Riders for a half hour with three songs twice, which were Carry On, I'll Fight Back and Voidwalkers.

Afterwards I played two games of Monster Manor on Bounce Arcade for 20 minutes. Both games I earned a bronze trophy and the last one was the best. I awoken the manor twice, banister blustered and stunned the manor once. I had fun.

I played five games of pinball on the mini cabinet, which was Batman Forever, No Good Goffers!, Pirates Life, Pirate of the Caribbean and Three Angels. While playing Pirates Life I played two players, where I came in high score #1 and #2. While playing Batman Forever and No Good Goffers! I came in high score #3.

I played four games of pinball on the big cabinet, which were Guardians of the Galaxy, Indiana Jones, JP Space Cadet and World Cup Soccer. While playing Indiana Jones I got a new high score for the challenge of 244,000,810. This put me in 38th place out of 71 participants.

In the evening we continued watching Bookish on PBS. Then I watched the second movie of The Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I ended up doing 7,000 steps.
