Doing the happy dance
The winter freeze is coming. The forecast is still not looking good. Today it drizzled all day leaving the ground wet and everything looking nasty. Our neighbors have been getting their plants covered in preparation for the freeze. The neighbor to the north of us hired some people to come and cover his palm trees. The crew trimmed the palms back and then totally covered them. Chris the neighbor behind us covered all his plants close to the ground. For years Larry has covered our hose bibs with insulated covers, last year he supplemented that with some new devices that automatically drip when the temperature gets to freezing. These seemed to work well other than one of our bibs is over the sidewalk leading to the front door, it dripped and then the water that dripped froze making the sidewalk dangerous. Larry put a saw horse over the ice along with a sign warning about the ice. We don't have plants just the tall oak trees. The morning temperature was 55 degrees and the high was 59 degrees,

Larry spent the day playing with Linux on the Dell computer. He still learning the program and is having fun.
I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong before I went to bed last night. Today I did the event, which was Event: Medium Mayhem of 27 games. It took me 1 hour, 14 minutes and 5 seconds, which put me in 12th place in my group. I played Angry Birds Friends and Angry Birds 2.
I worked out with the Synth Riders for a half hour with four songs twice, which were Code War, ID, Outburst and Underdog. While playing Code War I earned two outstanding scores, ID I earned one new high score and Underdog I earned one outstanding score and one high score. The high score in Underdog was my best score. While playing Outburst I didn't earn any new high score or outstanding. I had a great workout.

I played Pirate's Plunder twice on Bounce Arcade. The first game I crashed and burn. The second game I earned a silver trophy, fought my enemies three times and defeated them twice. I earned the five Jolly Rogers, Shelton Skull and Cutlass Clash. I had a great game.

I played eight games of pinball. I played four on the mini cabinet, which were Batman Forever, Dead Pool, Playboy and Transformers. While playing Transformers I became Grand Champion and Playboy I played Mansion Mania and entered my initials. I played four games on the big cabinet, which were Space Lord, Willow, World Poker Joker and X-Men. I didn't get a new high score on X-Men but I became high score #1. I didn't get on the board on the other three games but I still had a great time.

I worked on the Cambridge jigsaw puzzle by Charles Wysocki in between doing this and that.
In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 for an hour. She called four tips to 9 participants. It was a small group and it was a lot of fun.
After the dance we watched Grace of Monaco on Kanopy. It was a fictional movie based on real events of Grace Kelly's marriage and identity during a political dispute between Monaco's Prince Rainer III and France's Charles De Gaulle in the 1960s. It starred Nicole Kidman, she did a great job of playing Grace Kelly. It was a good movie. After Larry went to bed I watched Iron Man 3, which is the next super hero movie out of our movies collection. I ended up doing 3,000 steps.
