Wednesday 1-15-25 Dancing, Dentist, VR Room & Diamond Painting

We had a wonderful day. The morning temperature was 44 degrees and got up to 64 degrees.

Larry spent part of the day working on making a VR room for Superman and the Justice League. He got the pinball cabinet and the actual room working. The next step is to put graphics on the cabinet in the room. He is having a great time doing this project.

Before my dances I worked on the Fairy diamond painting.

I attended two virtual square dances. First was Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly Plus at 10:00 for an hour. They took turns calling five tips to 12 participants. One of the couples out of Florida (Dawn and Charles) made elephants out of gallon jugs of milk for their dance. The theme is for a Big Top Circus. Dawn used fabric to cover the jugs. They came out very cute. We just danced and when we had a problem Di and Terry would walk us their the move. Di helped us by cueing the moves. I had a great time.

I worked out with the Wii Fit for a half hour.

I didn't attend Ett's Weekly C1 dance because I had to go to the dentist. My appointment was at 1:00 to get the back lower right side molar removed. It took Dr. John over an hour to remove most of the molar and Dr. Littlefield finished it up. It took them an hour and a half to remove the tooth. Dr. John said usually the tooth would have come out in three pieces but today the tooth broke into 14 different pieces. Dr. John said it took so long because the roots were twisted. Dr. Littlefield finished up the tooth and stitched it up and said before he would put the implant I would have to wait six months. He wanted to make sure it heeled right. I have to eat soft things for the next two days.

On the way home we stopped by HEB to pickup a prescription. While we were there we picked up a couple of things we were getting low on.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Tri Peaks Mini of 10 games. It took me 30 minutes and 5 seconds, which put me in 19th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

Last night and this afternoon I cut up peppers, onions, sausage links and potato to make a bake for dinner. I have made this before. I didn't have the bake but Larry did. He said it was good but a little bland. Maybe I'll had some hot sauce to it to spice it up.

At 6:00 I attended Dave Eno's Weekly C1/A2 for an hour and a half. Karin Rabe and Greg Moore helped him call the dance. During the C1 session of three tips they called for 7 participants. During the A2 session of three tips they called for 8 participants. In between the A2 tips we did two Trivia questions. It was Greg's birthday so we sang Happy Birthday to him. I had a fun evening of dancing to Dave, Karin and Greg and with friends.

In the evening we started watching the fifth season of Creatures Great & Small on PBS. Then I watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me 3rd place in my group.

Maybe tomorrow I will play pinball and Bounce Arcade. I'm not sure about the Synth Riders because I have to take it easy on working out for a couple of days.
