Monday 1-13-25 Peguin Dance, Pinball Cabinet, Fairy Project & Games

Penguin Mania

We had a beautiful day with a lot of sunshine. We started with the temperature of 32 degrees and got to 53 degrees.

When I woke up Larry was playing with the big pinball cabinet. Yesterday, a gentleman made a YouTube video on how to create VR pinball cabinets and rooms for games that don't have them. Larry is thinking about creating VR rooms on the games we have that don't have a room. The problem is finding the time, he has other projects that he also wants to work on.

We started the day attending Di Green and Terry McCann's Weekly C1 dance at 9:00 for an hour and fifteen minutes. The dance theme this week was Penguin. The dancers dressed up in tuxes, winter sweaters (some of them had penguins on them) and others wore black and white. Larry and I wore black pants, white shirts and white hats with black band on it. The dancers shared their penguins nick-knacks with the group. I shared one of Larry's paper craft projects. A couple of years ago he made a penguin gift box. I also shared a stuffed animal penguin and her chick, I have had it for decades. There were 12 participants and Di called five tips. Larry danced four of the tips with me and we had a great time. In between the tips the dancers visited with each other. It was a very fun dance.

Larry is painting the mini pinball cabinet. We had to go to Walmart in the afternoon because he was getting very low on the black paint he was using.

I worked out with the Wii Fit for 45 minutes and with Gold's Gym for a half hour. I didn't do any Synth Riders.

Working out

After I finished my workout we went to Walmart to buy some more paint. Before going to Walmart we stopped by HEB to check on the transfer of a prescription. This year we changed our prescription drug provider, our old provider increased their premium about 400% so we switched. Walmart is not in network for the new provider but HEB is. If we stayed with Walmart Larry's blood pressure medication would be $24 (last year it was free), by moving it to HEB it is once again suppose to be free. Last Friday Larry called HEB to get the prescription transferred, they said it would be ready Saturday. Today he found out it didn't happen. HEB again said they would get in touch with Walmart and take care of it. He's in no hurry because he has enough of the medication.

We went across the street to Walmart and bought some of the paint Larry needed. We had an empty canister for propane for the grill. We stopped by the self-service station but they were out of refills. We ended up going to another Walmart. There Larry picked up the paint he couldn't get at the other Walmart. Then he replaced the propane canister at their self-service.

When we got home I played Asteroid Outpost on Bounce Arcade. I played one game for about an hour. I mined the asteroids 11 different times but was unsuccessful. I got a gold trophy and a new high score. I had fun.

I played four games of pinball. I did the weekly challenge of Spider-Man and got a new high score of 82,559,350, which moved me from 23rd place to 13th place out of 27 participants so far. I also played World Joker Poker, The Lord of the Rings and Monster Bash.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event is Event: Easy Street of 15 games. It took me 28 minutes and 31 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I worked on the Fairy diamond painting.

Larry surprised me, he bought me three more diamond paintings in a kit by RYMILIE. We received them today from Amazon.

In the evening we started watching the fourth season of Vienna Blood and an episode of Elementary. Then I watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I ended up doing 18,000 steps, which put me in 4th place in my group.
