Tuesday 5-16 Relaxing Day

Relax and enjoy the day

We woke up to a strong wind and it stayed around all day. The skies were overcast and it may rain tomorrow.

It is starting to get hot and Flo has been panting as if she is hot. She likes to go swimming but getting around has been getting more difficult for her. When she walks around the yard to take care of business her back legs give out now and than. I wanted to take her swimming but Larry is concerned she will have difficulties getting out of the lake. When she walks too far or hurts herself by trying to go down the stairs it can take her days to recover.

This morning we went to Aldi to pickup a few things. We got there a a few minutes before it opened and there were a lot of cars in the parking lot and a line of people coming out the door. The line was for a job fair. While waiting a lady came by and dropped off her son to apply, she explained Aldi's job fair. She said the last one held in Killeen had hundreds of people applying. She said the job may not be in Temple, it might be in Killeen. There was a sign inside indicating they pay anywhere from $11 to $22 an hour. I guess that is why so many people were applying. Once the doors opened we picked up what we needed.

Going for a ride

We hung around the house for the rest of the day. I worked out a half hour with the Wii Fit and forty-five minutes with Just Dance. Larry finished one book, started another and finished it. 

In the evening we watched YouTube videos and I worked on my puzzle. We watched Sunday's episode of Call the Midwife and started watching the third season of Bosch. We had a very relaxing day.
