Sunday 6-22-25 Television, Mowing & Dancing with the Sundancers

 

Smile and be happy

 

Larry started the day off by mowing the frontyard. After mowing he trimmed the edges. Then he treated the weeds. Finally he blew the driveway off.

We spent the day switching out the televisions. First Larry took a couple of pictures of the old television. Then he disconnected all the electronic cables from the back. He disconnected the stand from the television. We'll need the stand for the new television. He went into the attic and found the box for the television. We put the old television in it's box. Next we took the new television out of it's box and laid it on the bed in the master bedroom. Next we worked on modifying the television stand so it could fit the new television. Larry had made a self, that fits on the stand for my Wii Fit and all the programs I workout with. The shelf holds all my stuff and hides it behind the television. Larry had to build a couple of extensions to lift the shelf to a usable height from my programs and Wii Fit. We have the new television working but only the TV. Tomorrow he'll work on getting the other devices to work with the television. 

The new television is a Hisense 55". Normally these flat screen TV's have terrible sound but surprisingly this one sounds great. We have a sound bar so Larry will go ahead and hook it up. 

After lunch I played the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Klondike and 3 Pyramid). It took me 51 minutes and 51 seconds, which put me in 13th place i my group. I played Angry Birds.

In the evening we went to Sun City to dance plus with the Sundancers. I brought cinnamon coffee cake to snack on. We had thirteen people, which included Gary Bible the caller. We played with six couple squares. He called a few four couple moves, which were Relay the Ducey, Spin Chain the Gears and Coordinate. For some reason I messed up with Relay the Ducey when I was in the middle. Gary did a great job of work shopping some moves we were have problem with. We had a lot of fun dancing with friends.

We were home by 8:30 and we played with the television. We have to use the remote control because our Alexa device doesn't recognize the television. Larry is working on getting it to work. When Larry went to bed I watched The Matrix Reloaded. I ended up doing 13,500 steps.
