Friday 6-20-25 Date Day, Pizza Night, Dancing & More

We had a great day.

We started the day out by having a date day. We went to town to see Mission Impossible The Final Reckoning. The first showing was at 8:35 am at Cinemark in Temple. It was a good movie and ran for 2 hours and 49 minutes.

Going to the movies

After the movie Larry took me to lunch at Panera Bread. We have only been there one other time when we were on one of our trips. We shared an Italian Steak & Mozzarella Cheese and a bag of chips. The sandwich was very good.

While we were having lunch Larry made an appointment to get his hair cut at Great Clips. On the way home we stopped at Great Clips on Adams. This was the first time at this location and we didn't have to wait. The lady who cut Larry's hair was very friendly and did a great job.

We then walked next door to a QT store. Larry wondered if they might have ice cream, they did and they had sundaes on sale for 99 cents. Unfortunately they don't have anywhere to sit. Seems funny that they have foods such as subs and pizzas but nowhere to sit. We sat in the car with the AC running to enjoy our sundae.

When we got home. Larry started experimenting with a new computer program to shrink the size of our movie files.

I played games. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong. The event was Event: Solitaire World Tour of 30 games. It took me 3 hours, 2 minutes and 42 seconds, which put me in 13th place in my group. I played Angry Birds.

I played three different pinball games, which were Bay Watch, Big Bang Bar and The Addams Family. I didn't get on the board while playing Big Bang Bar but I had a great game.

For dinner we had a Hawaiian pizza.

In the evening I attended Ett McAtee's Weekly A2 dance at 6:30 for an hour. She called four tips to 13 participants. I had a great time dancing with friends.

After the dance we watched a movie on Amazon called Inherit The Wind. It was a 1999 movie starring Jack Lemmon and George C. Scott. It was good movie. Afterwards I watched Sonic 3 and Frozen II out of our movies collection. I ended up doing 13,500 steps.

Thank you, honey for a super day.
