Monday 6-9-25 Wellness Appointment, Diamon Painting and Games

Rainy morning

We had a rainy morning. A front came through early in the morning. The rain kept the temperature to a high at 90 degrees.

We started the day off by going to Salado for my annual wellness check-up. On the way to my appointment we stopped by Jack 'n' Jill Donuts for breakfast.

Salado is 17 miles away from the house. We usually take I35 but today we took a two lane highway over Stillhouse Hollow Lake. This route was a lot easier and less stressful. We arrived at the Baylor Scott and White clinic a little before 8:00 and my appointment was at 8:20. Larry already checked me in so they called me back in a few minutes. I actually was only with the Dr. Smith for about fifteen minutes. He said my lab work came back excellent and everything was lower then it has been in years. My cholesterol was a bit high but not bad. He said he didn't need to see me for another year. I asked him about his family and he said he had an addition to the family six weeks ago, they had another little boy. He was excited I asked. He now has three children two boys and girl.

After my appointment we stopped in Belton to do a few errands. First stop was Dollar Tree because they carry the cookies I bake for dessert. Next we went across the street to The UPS Store to pickup the mail. We only had one piece of junk mail. Then we went to Walmart to pickup a few items we were getting low on. Final stop was at the Mobile station to fill the car with gas. Then we went home.

Larry finished getting our router and network back to the way it use to be.

GLiNet is coming out with a new router. They were going to open up sales for them at 9:00 pm. The moment they were added to the system Larry ordered one and was able to get the Super Early Bird price. GLiNet, is located in China but has a warehouse in the United States. The router is suppose to ship in early July.

Before doing the Daily Challenges I played 16 games of Free Cell so I could double my points when playing Solitaire all week. I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong from yesterday and today. The event was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Free Cell and 3 Pyramid). It took me 14 minutes and 57 seconds, which put me in 22nd place in my group. Then I played Angry Birds.

I played one game of Pirate's Plunder on Bounce Arcade. I earned a silver trophy. I played a three of multiballs (safe crack, saloon and jailhouse break). I solved one event, which was cracking the safe. I tried the barrels a couple of times and shoot out a couple of times and failed. I had fun.

Larry played Big Bang Bar, JP Space Cadet and Indianapolis 500. He had a great time and entered his initials in both JP Space Cadet and Indianapolis 500.

I played four games of pinball, which were Big Bang Bar, JP Space Cadet, Indianapolis 500 and Cirqus Voltaire. While playing Big Bang Bar I became high score #3 and Indianapolis 500 I became high score #2. When playing Cirqus Voltaire I got a new high score of 46,250,510, which put me in 10th place out of 22 participants so far.

I finished my diamond painting of Tree #Z-055-4. I started May 30th and finished June 9th, which was 11 days to complete. I'll start a new diamond painting tomorrow, which is also a tree. This diamond painting is Tree #Z-055-5.

In the evening we watched some YouTube videos and a documentary on Amazon called Joni Mitchell Lady Blue. It was about Joni Mitchell's singing career. It was a good documentary. After Larry went to bed I watched Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol on Amazon. I ended up doing 13,500 steps for the day.
