Saturday 6-7-25 Router Project, Mowing Frontyard, Diamond Painting & More

Humid Day

It was a hot humid day with the high of 95 degrees.

Larry spent most of the day working on his router. A few days ago while updating it to the newest firmware it bricked itself. A few folks have been successfully recovered from this, most have not. He had to order a special cable to attempt the repair, once it arrived he had to take the router apart and connect the cable to some pins, then install some software on the computer and attach the cable to the computer. From there it became a multiple try thing to get the connection to work. Due to the finicky process it ended up taking hours but in the end he was successful in getting it to work. He still has a bunch of configuring to do before he can use it but he thinks he is on the downhill side.

I started the day out mowing the frontyard. Larry warned me about the yard being wet considering the irrigation system ran last night. It was a little wet but I was able to mow it, which took me about a half hour. Then I tried to edge the yard but I was having difficulties so I asked Larry to show me how to do it. He ended up edging the yard, he thought it was easier for him to do it. While he was edging he ran out of line so he put more line in the head. The line wasn't the right size so at times it bound up. Now and then you had to unbind it but overall it worked great. Then I finished weedeating around the trees, brick wall and where ever the mower couldn't reach. I weedeated the backyard, which I'll mow tomorrow. The line bound up a couple of times but I was able to unbind it. I didn't want to bother Larry. I was happy I learned something but by the time I have to weedeat again I probably won't remember. By the time I finished mowing, weedeating, Larry edging and blowing off the drive and porches. I had been outside for about an hour and a half.

I did the Daily Challenges of Solitaire and Mahjong from yesterday and today. I played the event, which was Event: Two Game Tango Mini of 6 games (3 Klondike and 3 Spider). It took me 15 minutes and 40 seconds, which put me in 15th place in my group. I played Angry Birds.

I worked out with the Synth Riders for 30 minutes. I played one game of Asteroid Outpost on the Bouncer Arcade, which took me 30 minutes. I earned a silver trophy. While I played I tried to mine the asteroids ten times and was successful in mining two times and I played two multiballs. I earned an extra ball. I had fun.
