Happy November |
Today is the first day of November, I can't believe the holidays are just around the corner.
We started the day out stopping at Walmart to see if they carried the transmission fluid for the car. The only one they carried was Super Tech, Larry really would preferred to use the Chevrolet brand (Delco) of fluid. We passed on the fluid but we did get a flu shot. Larry had called our insurance company yesterday to see if we were covered at Walmart, they said we were. It didn't take long to get the shot. Then we stopped by O'Reilly Auto Parts to see what they carried for transmission fluid. They carried a name brand but it was not the factory brand so Larry left empty handed. Next we went to Troutt's Upholstery and picked up the seat cushions for the Minnie, they came out great and he charged us less than he quoted.
After lunch I read and Larry found he could order the transmission fluid on Amazon at a good price so he placed an order, it should be in tomorrow. I ended up finishing the new Cork O'Connor book. It was very good.
Reading is fun |
In the evening we drove to Georgetown to dance with the Shirts 'n' Skirts club. We hadn't danced with them in a long time because we usually dance A with the TIPS club on Wednesday nights. This week it was cancelled so we had the opportunity to dance with friends we had not danced with for awhile. Everyone there was happy to see us. There were enough people for three squares. Brad Caldwell is the clubs new caller and he did a super job. We ended up getting seven tips and three of them were plus. In between the tips Martha and a few dancers and I got up and did a line dance. We had a nice night of dancing.
